Mahalakshmi Ladies Hostel - Girl's Hostel in Chennai - Chennai, India

All the things about the hostel are okay , but there is a lady in the staff( latha) who is really rude for no reason. You will never want to stay in that hostel for their treatment.

Owner of this place is a mean lady. All they want is money, the food is pathetic and the people looking after the place is never coordinated. The lobby ambience is all they have. The rooms are never clean. They take 2k as maintenance fee but never maintain anything properly. Their watchman drinks and he is annoying. There were so many complains raised against him and the hostel management never did anything and always took his side. i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Never go with the ambience. You have no idea what your getting your self into.

The best hostel I have ever stayed ,food was awesome they prepare different variety of food which tasted delicious . Ambiance was superb very neatly maintained . During this corona period , we were well taken care . Our safety was given importance . The management always give good attention to our concern . In short had a good experience a very pleasant homely stay

Rooms r comfortable, wifi facility available

Best pg/hostel for working women in Chennai location. I am currently staying in this hostel for more than 3.5 years. Neat ambience, proper and regular maintenance, sophisicated facilities like attached TV , AC, Water heater, Fully furnished rooms, wardrobe, cupboards with lock facilities, washing machine , wifi, drinking water, microwave oven, etc available. Food will be prepared healthily by the cooking staffs. Non-vegetarian food available weekly twice. Rooms are available in 2,3,4,5 sharing basis. I am staying in 4 sharing room only. That too I feel very comfortable to stay like homely atmosphere. vehicle parking facilities available. Rooms cleaning done by cleaning staffs on daily basis.Spacious , comfortable, clean rooms. Staff members like cooking staff, hostel incharge/manager ,etc everyone are very friendly. They care about the girls/women who are staying. Owner aunty is really very friendly, polite, soft-spoken, caring about the girls/women staying in the hostel. She will take care of everything if there is any problem in facilities in rooms. I will suggest this hostel for all the working women who wants to stay peacefully after working hours. Even for girls/women who are studying , this pg/hostel is very comfortable. With all such facilities included, hostel fees per month is also affordable. No problem for me. I didn't face any problems in hostel. Even if I come cross any few problems, owner aunty has resolved it for me. Owner aunty is really nice lady. I really like owner, hostel incharge/manager, cooking staffs, cleaning staffs. I suggest this pg for every girls in Chennai.

Worst ever pg I have ever seen.. the people there are only concerned about money and cleanliness is zero there. You will get all sort of infection if you stay there. They only maintain the look but after few days you will start hating the place.. except for 2 cooking staff others are all money stealers. Will never recommend this pg to anyone.. owner uses filthy language to the girls who stay and I have my very own personal experience

Money minded ppl. food is just kinda okok only. Rooms are spacious. But you'll always have maintenance issues. And if you report that, they'll not respond properly. For the first month of my stay, they were always smiling at me. From the sec month on, they started to show their face. And also men come to kitchen and reception and all. Being a ladies hostel, I guess men shouldn't be allowed. Some are the staff's relative I think. I don't know. No proper maintainance. All they want is money and nothing else. For the amount we spend in this pg, there are better options near by. Don't choose this one. They will smile just for a while. After that they'll show their face.

My sister has been staying in this plessant stay Ladies hostel for the past 2 years.. Yeah they are providing TV, Washing machines, Geyser and more importantly it is CLEAN and the food is also good and there is no problem with security as well. Every now and then she said she would recommend this to every working women. Problems will be there every where but after she joined and in the past two years, they have brought up lot of additional facilities that would make the stay more comfortable. She has stayed in many hostels before but she used to change her hostel so often, but ever since she came here she didnt change and recommending to others as wel
