Why government made such kind of art and culture building if nobody can see or take benefits from it. Most of the time it closes for the public. Government needs to open it as a visiting historical place, so that people can explore the art and cultural of india. This is also a historical place in Raipur. Sometimes here they conduct some seminars and competition for the school and college students.
The Mahakoshal Kala Vithika exhibits the art of the locals giving them a platform to showcase their work. The art gallery is located in an octagonal hall built by Mahant Ghasidas, the Raja of the Rajnandgaon principality. The British Government converted it into an art gallery in 1875. The Kala Vithika regularly holds workshops on fine arts.
