This is historical Beautiful Lake near Satara City. Natural Water Collected here and supplied to Satara City.
Great spot for evening...Lots of birds visit here.. People come here for fishing.. Birds spotted by me were Scaly breasted munia, Oriental white eye, kingfisher,Red watted wapling ,etc etc... Calm cool place worth visit.

best rest time evening with familys and friends
Nice place for morning or evening walk. Place is surrounded with trees and in morning it is mostly covered with fog and air is also very clean to breathe. There are also benches where you can sit and enjoy the view of Talav. You can also see peacocks and many new birds. It is a nice place for bird watching and photography of birds and reptiles.
Mhadre pond is in the west of Satara city this phone is very beautiful and peaceful
