Magnus Hospital Udaipur - Best Hospital for Gynecology, Delivery & Laparoscopic Surgery - Hospital in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

One of the top options for maternity services in the city due to the doctor's reputation. The hospital is located in the Shobhagpura area of the city in a not-so-crowded place. The area is peaceful, with ample street parking and a couple of parking lots. The building is newly made. Hospital management needs a lot of improvement, and they don't care about patients' time. My sister got frustrated due to their Sarkari behavior, waiting, and delays. Pregnant ladies and mothers in their labor can't spend 4-5 hours in scans, tests, and waiting areas for consultation despite taking proper appointments. Basically one whole working day is required. Consultation could also be better, and patients need proper information about their condition and processes instead of one-liner conclusions by doctors. (I hope they improve it) We were provided a package for delivery, but we needed to run to the pharmacy several times a day for small things from the top floor to the ground floor in the sun and busy lift. So make sure you go with at least 2-3 of your friends or family members who can arrange these things for you. Please also include the pharmacy in the package or make it tech enabled to approve bills, instead of running around in anxious times. The waiting lobby is not ventilated and does not have enough fans, and in rainy seasons it becomes a humid hell. The rooms are clean and newly made, Ventilation becomes an issue, and if you open the glass window, there is no mosquito net and mosquito barges, so it's a bad post-natal situation where you can't use ac or mosquito repellants. Also, there is no baby cradle or baby bed post-delivery; they suggest keeping the baby on the side couch for a couple of days after delivery. Hope they improve these mentioned issues and take it as positive feedback. Edit: We again went for some stomach ache issue of a new mother after a couple weeks and they directly suggested immediate gallbladder stone surgery after a simple ultrasound. Which was denied by other senior doctors in the city and doctors in our family. So please take a second opinion whenever they suggest any kind of immediate surgery.

Dr Shilpa Goyal, is a wonderful Doctor and a fabulous person! She is kind, humble, warm, understanding and very professional.. She always have such a great patient to doctor interaction, going out of their way to make sure the patient is happy and comfortable while on their treatment journey. The procedure was handled with precision and utmost respect for medical protocol. The hygiene levels were impeccable, adding a further sense of security about the treatment received. Had all consultations going on with her since 2nd month. The staff is friendly and helpful. Anyone that wants a quality treatment can go for it..

This hospital is far away from main city but here you will find good doctors. Dr. SHILPA goyal best for gynaecologist. Its easy to access it from shobhagpura. Cab facility is also available from here. Canteen is also for your youngsters.

Worst hospital and Dr Shilpa opened hospital just to earn money nothing else they don't care about patient ... just writing same medicine to all the patients If you want to put your loved one to risk then only go to hospital. Initially I also provided good feedback but after few days of delivery my wife's life came on risk and i got to know how they are making fool to every one. Don't ho to this hospital.

I would not recommend Dr Shilpa My sister called for an appointment and was informed to come anytime between 11 to 5 Upon reaching the hospital she was asked to wait for 4 hours. When she requested an appointment the receptionist was rude and asked a pregnant lady to wait for hours without any confirmation whether the doctor will see her today? He also mentioned that the doctor has already seen 80 patients today and she is done for the day and she may or may not see you today My sister then asked why was she not told the same on the call? Receptionist was rude again , he should have not talked to a pregnant lady like that I wonder if this doctor is seeing 80 patients a day, is it doing any justice to the patients? Or she is just wanting to earn money??

Un necessarily expensive Even if the dr.has not visited the patient they put visiting charges in tue bill. Discharged the patient without doctors visit. Charged500 for the blanket which will come bk with the ambulance after dropping the patient

I am writing this review with a heavy heart, hoping to save other families from going through the traumatic experience we endured. Our baby suffered from Erb's Paralysis due to the the gross negligence of the doctor and the staff during labor and delivery. Even, we were consulting with the dr since day one. My innocent baby is now facing extensive, long-term medical treatment that could have been avoided if the doctor had taken their responsibilities seriously. Dr failed to take appropriate action to prevent the birth injury. They displayed a shocking lack of basic medical knowledge and commitment towards patient care. I implore any expectant parents to think twice before seeking the services of magnus hospital. Please learn from our painful experience and seek a healthcare provider who prioritize patient safety and genuinely care for their patients. I strongly advice to find a more conscientious and dedicated healthcare professional who will prioritize mother and innocent babys well being over their own convenience. This hospital doesn't even deserve a single star, just a money making machine I guess.
