Magnus Caverns Resort - Resort hotel in Wai - Satara, India

We had a brief weekend stay at this property with family which included senior citizens & kids. The property is located right at the Dhom dam backwater which makes it really special. Our plan was finalized at the last moment & hence we got the tent stay which was available, however other villa type stay options looked better & comfortable. The best part we loved about the resort was the food and the hospitable service. The food was really lip smacking with good variety. They have nice entertaining activities for groups in the evening and enough photo booths & games for the kids. There is also a boating point which is hardly 200 meters away from the resort. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would like to visit again.

It's one of the best resorts I have visited. We stayed in Tavas Vintage suite and Grotto Heritage tents... Both are extremely lavish... The resort has so many things to do.. My 5 year old kiddo even enjoyed the travel from room to Restaurant through electric cart... The scenic view of Lake is just beyond words!! We already visited twice.. I am sure we will plan more times as well...

Grotto tents are the rooms to go for.. everything here is serene.. clean resort, well maintained amenities, great food, lake side view, swimming pool. They have good stay options like villas, tents, small tents. Good play area for kids, best karaoke setup... Best food, clean toilet and a lot of activities. A must place to visit with your family and friends.

Property is huge and pretty but we stayed in heritage tents which was good only, washrooms were out of the tent and also there were a lot of dogs. Me being dog phobea was facing it difficult to go it to washroom also. Food is great. Luxury tents and villas looked good to me. Spa is little expensive. Live music and karaoke was amazing and lake view is also cool with small tree house :)

Service staff is good but owners are bit money minded it seems, the rooms which we wanted and it was actually available but as they were less charges they sold us high chargeable rooms with 200-300 rs discount which was nothing. They did show all the other options but what we liked we didn't get. Ideally they should have charged us less as unavailability was from there side and was not mentioned on any website, we did saw that online that all rooms were available that's the reason we have not booked it online as most of them were available. Anyways Rest food is good, area is really good, location is too good, stargazing is also good. Staff is also good. Will plan to visit again and hope everything goes well again in my next visit.

The staff at this resort were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. The location was perfect - close to the river greenery and attractions. The hotel had great facilities and was very convenient. The foods were delicious and had a great variety of options. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The resort was beautiful and the decor was modern and stylish. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

The property is located at the amazing view. You can go with friends, families .best option for corporate outing as well. Nice staff and many activities to do. Chill out at night with the hills and water

Had an awesome time here. Very nice resort and very friendly staff. Only suggestion I had was all the steps should have a railing on the side which will help the senior citizens. A little senior citizen friendly layout would make this resort a 5 star place
