This restaurant is a part of Magnum Hotel at Police Bazar ,Shillong . Excellent location but this resturant is very small . Price of food is high compared to quality. Fresh lime sweet was made with Sugar instead of Sugar syrup and all sugars at the bottom of the glass .Terrible . Chowmein was average. Chilli chicken though 8 pieces, preparation needs serious improvement. Even crockery is cheap type .
The food is so terrible and out of taste , well I actually liked the presentation but as you know presentation cannot fill the stomach. Starters are a bit ok but I suggest you move on to some different place for main course.
Food was served about an hour after we ordered. Service was so slow and haphazard that people who ordered first received their food last, some even left the restaurant due to the slow service. No one responds to the complaints. Also the quantity of food was less. Price is on the higher side.
Worst experience ever. Very bad service.... The food also is very bad... Sandwich is sold at Rs. 180/- without fries... Only bread with a little bit of butter and small quantity of chicken that too with small pieces of bones in it.
I ordered food from swiggy along with beverage and this was shown in the order history too, but I did not receive the items that I ordered and had to pay the full amount, it's a scam to show the items while ordering and not delivering it
It's nice small restaurant on top of bank of Baroda. The decor is nice and the food economical to try out. Being at the center of the market it's easily accessible place to go for.

This is one of the worst restaurant I've ever visited , it's expensive and their food have no flavour and out of taste , with bad service. If you're looking for a place with a good and peaceful ambience with good food , affordable and a very good service I'd suggest other place like The City hut dhaba , Kim Pou or any other restaurants but this Magnum opus restaurant. It's not worth it .

I came across this place as I wanted to rewind. I played some pool, the staff and people are so friendly and nice. The food was great and they serve beer and wine too. Playing pool with beer in hand is a rare experience. Recommended a visit.
