Great Museum in Wardha City. Situated in the middle of the city . Ample parking nearby area. Many sculptures and things of modern India has been kept in display. Mahatma Gamdhi sculpture, The Charkha, Authentic Khadi (Pure Cotton), Old replicas of useful machines and systems are also kept in display. Garden is beautiful in the surrounding. Benches for sitting are available in the garden. Green place. Moreover, you can buy some Authentic Khadi Fabric fron the Khadi Store right beside the Magan Sangrahalay. Must visit point whenever in Wardha.

This museum has different sections with a common theme as envisaged by Gandhiji, the decentralized development of rural India. Section dedicated to spinning and khadi was the most interesting and elaborately catalogued from the first Amber chakra used. It also houses the small premises that Kumarappa, the noted Economist and close Gandhian associate, stayed. Definitely worth the time spent. Also stop by at the khadi counter and fully organic kitchen run by the same organization.

Nice museum showcasing art and culture of India. Especially rural parts. Closed on Sundays.

Good shop to buy desi clothes. The clothes are made by the staff in sangrahalaya samiti.

Historical Place in Wardha. One can do purchase in nearby stalls: variety of khadi material. Hotel Rasoi has Awesome food.

Had a wonderful experience visiting this place which breathes nature completely. You will be inspired so much watching the entire process and will remain in awe of how the team here performs so meticulously yet with so much ease. A must visit foe every Indian and specially foe children.

Awesome Khadi work. They have preserved the tradition of organic dye. Here you can also enjoy the traditional dishes of Maharashtra, where all the vegetables and food ingredients are collected from local organic farmers. Magan Sangrahalaya Samiti have contributed a lot in preserving and popularising the indigenous cotton seeds, that are more drought resistant.
