Highly recommend this place for filter coffee if you're in Chennai. Veg puff is also good here. Fast service and friendly staff. There are two shops, one in mgr Central railway station and second is in the subway of midpoint of metro, park town railway station and central railway.

This is one of the must not to try restaurants here... I ordered mini tiffen combo absolutely disappointed and dint like anything ... coffee they charged 35 ruppess of just a small cup .. i think they are importing milk, coffee sugar from abroad ... don't don't try from here ....

In Chennai 'Madras Coffee House" is a popular name, you can see their outlets in almost every street of Chennai, but never go by ther popularity. If you are inside the station premises then obviously this is the best place for filter coffee or tea, they have not any seating facilities so don't look for that, and if you want to try their other items then you should try at your own risk. But if you are not inside the station premises then I will suggest that you can consider other cafes out there, do some research you will definitely got some best cafes for best South India Filter Coffee.

The curd rice & mosambi juice were good, but the veg sandwich can be improved, as there was only mayonnaise & only 2 pieces of cucumber & tomato and they gave tamarind chutney with that. The packaging was good.

The coffee was good when compared with other stalls there. But the bun butter jam that costed my Rs.55, was really bad. The bread seemed to be old and the quality was disappointing too. I would suggest this place for coffee but not food:)
