Madras Beach House - Villa in Chennai - Chengalpattu, India

One of the worst experience we faced recently. Please be aware that there is no power backup and not worth the money you are paying for. When we stayed , there was continuous power cut and we checked out the same day without staying. Haven't received the refund yet. Please avoid going here. I booked this house last month , June 10th and not a fake user. Let me give my honest review about the house.. 1. House was not neat when we got there.. Few dead insects with ants around them were seen in hall as well as stairs. It was not broomed or moped. Very sticky when walking around the house. 2. Initially we faced water shortage when we got there.. Later he switched on the motor or something and it worked. 3. Restrooms were not that clean. Found a men's underwear in one of the bathroom which was hanging in shower head.. we asked the housekeeper to remove it. 4. There was too much fungus in the drinking water dispenser can. 5. Kitchen was not well equipped. There was no lighter or matchbox. 6. Swimming pool had an restroom/shower room which was not at all cleaned and toilets were soiled and not cleaned at all.. 7. On the top of it , communicating with house keeping was very hard. He can't understand a single English word and we can't speak Hindi .. 8. As you might know the main issue.. No power back up which was a huge set back..

Must recommend one.well maintaining place and has good pool caretaker will be there only issue is there are 4 to 5 cats which has spoiled our food and the balcony has swing so good place to relax with your friend

Good place for outing with family. Cool and clam place

Good place to chill out with family and friends. Don't expect the waterfalls as it is shown in the website, they are no more operating it. Clean pool, clean rooms, well maintained air conditioners

Absolutely not worth for money

This is one of the beautiful place that i have visited. Such a cool and calm place. We had a great time during our family get together. The highlight is that we have a swimming pool near by the entrance. Ultimate view of muttukadu along with East Coast Road. Several rooms are available. Maintenance for this place is being taken place. Love to visit again with the family for another get together. Please like the comment if it is interesting and do share your comments. Cheers.

I booked this property through makemytrip. But owner called and informed that the property is not functional and closed. He asked to cancel and I cancelled. So Please make sure that the booking will be honoured before spending any money. It looks that MMT is booking without owners consent. So please dont book throught MMT this property

We were not informed that there was a prior inquiry and we were told that the property is available.Making us wait for 3 days till you get a confirmation from someone else is not ethical. At the end we were told that somebody booked it online, even when we told you that our booking is confirmed and asked you twice to share the details for payment.
