Madiwala Lake Side View - Park in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

Sole reason to visit this lake park just because it's nearby to the place I am living. I'll list the pros: Good place to jog & walk Not crowded Lush greenery Minimal entry charge Parking available but paid A few good photographers spot Benches are clean Hygiene is maintained Dustbins are available Dedicated play arena for kids Boating is available but closed as of now Saw some rare species cranes and birds Toilets available Silence and serene Cons: Couples. Not decent. Being intimate openly and in an uncomfortable environment. Still some people are littering everywhere despite dustbins are installed. No flowers and beauty. There was only one tree pf bougainvillea which was behind the no entry sign Pungent smell everywhere It could have been maintained a bit more The lake is filled with weeds which should have been cleaned up Timing is very bad for morning or evening jog Good for one time visit.

. Also known as Madiwala Lake, the lake is very famous in Bangalore. . Though the water is not very good, the boating is still permitted. . Weekends there will be a very heavy rush. . This location is one among many points from where one can watch The Lake. . You can see the different views of the lake, along with the jogging track. . Other locations are reviewed separately. . Mornings & evenings are beautiful. . If you are in Bangalore, try visiting - you will not be disappointed.

Best and my favorite place for morning jog and walk. Tracks are maintained well. Sunrise is so nice in this lake side view. Have nice kids play area and Pets are not allowed inside.

Just want to say that don't come after seeing the review, just come and feel the beauty of this lake this place you will be surprised if you come in the morning time when you will see the sun rice you will feel amazing. For me this is becoming every moring place. I go there everyday and you won't believe everyday it gives me different Vibes. The feel of this place is just awesome

Boating available just 50 per head side seen is normal. Before going to lake you must buy some food for fish that was very exciting when you throw foods fishes are play very nice

One perfect morning if you wake up early and visit this lake. The nature around is so beautiful and you won't feel like going back. Soaked under sun for almost 2 hours and it was the best. There are lot of benches to sit back and relax. BTM lake would be best for walking, jogging, yoga, mediation, etc. Do checkout the place in the morning for the best view. Timings might change due to Covid. Everything is best but parking is an actual problem.

One of the larger lakes located in South Bangalore off JP Nagar surrounded by a walkway/park. A nice place to visit and walk especially in the mornings and evenings. There is a walkway though it isn't well maintained any more and gets really narrow at times on weekends, that means bumping into people who crowd the weekends. Lush green with nice seating points, some in plain view and some hidden. The view of the lake expanse is beautiful, though its a shame many people litter the water. There is a lovely small play area for young kids with a few well maintained swings, slides and climbing poles. Currently it's free to enter. Boating isn't open anymore. Parking can be found on the main roads outside There are no stores inside the park so carry your own essentials. Didn't find a public toilet.

Beautiful weather awesome view. Now days boating is not available. Morning open at 6AM evening close at 6:30PM. Go early in morning to view sunrise . Must visit. Best for couples.
