Madhuvan's Village - Restaurant in Mangaluru - Dakshina Kannada, India

Came here with a friend before I had to catch a flight since he suggested this was a popular place to dine in. The place is really impressive, there is a huge seating space perfect if you come with your family or in a large group. Variety of beer available. Service is good, but waiting time for food was long. The food was well worth the wait though, the pizza and chicken lollipop which I tried were good. The dipping sauce could have been a little bit better I feel.

Madhuvan's village is an excellent place to dine. The newly renovated restaurant have added many more seating options and the ambience is top notch. Food is good, there are some excellent dishes to choose from like prawns ghee roast, chicken uruval, etc. Variety of sea food is served and also you have live crab counter, from where you can select crab you want to get cooked. There is also a large range of Vegetarian dishes on menu. So no need to worry if you are Vegetarian. Ambience is really awesome with many fountains within the restaurant and also you have a open lawn. There is also a kids play area for the little ones.

It's quite rare that everything you ordered is so delicious and the service is spot on. Even on a crowded weekend, the service was quick and the food was great. The staff looks well trained and the hospitality is good. The overall experience was too good.

Madhuvan's village restaurant is a must-visit spot! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning, especially in the evening. The food is delicious and not overly spicy. You'll definitely have a delightful experience there!

Good & Friendly place, Good location and great ambience. Ample parking available. We visited for lunch; Seafood + Other non-Veg options along with chilled Beer were good (Crafted Beer, Good Veg options & Meals/Combos were also available). They had good amount of seating capacity with options (Outdoor, Indoor, AC etc.). Neat washrooms. Madhuvans Village restaurant provided a truly memorable dining experience during our visit to Mangalore, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The menu offered a variety of dishes, and we tried the ghee rice, squid ghee roast, chicken curry, veg biryani, and Gobi Manchurian. The standout was definitely the squid ghee roast, which was incredibly tasty. The restaurant's ambience added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. With artificial waterfalls, lush plants, and a serene atmosphere, it felt like dining in a fantastic place.. They even have a dedicated kids play area, making it a family-friendly destination. One of the practical aspects I appreciated was the ample parking space, which can be a rarity at many restaurants. Highly recommended!

The only plus point of this place is the ambience. Have been here at Mangalore since 2022 and this is the only restaurant with so much open space and nice interiors. In fact they have a enclosed play area for kids so parents can let them loose and breathe in some fresh air. Location is roughly 1.5 kms from Kadri Park towards airport. Cons : This is was our first experience here and were utterly disappointed with the food. All the items (except noodles) we had ordered were cold (literally). I started clicking photos of the items once I realised people might actually take my review as spam with so much negative comments about the food. Starting from the manchow soup (luke warm with softened fried noodles) to the mutton dum biryani. Also the biryani rice was more of fried rice kind of and super dry. We had order most of the items after consulting our waiter. So when he suggested 'prawn tawa fry' we went ahead. Only to be served with cold prawns in warm masala which was priced at INR 950!!! The chicken starter he suggested was not only cold but were more of bones than meat. Mojito had a heavy dosage of sugar syrup then any other flavour. Bar area looks good but didn't try. Overall, if it's only about the open air ambience, this place is good. I was utterly disappointed with the food, and guess would not be visiting again.

Best food place in Mangalore for non veg food Never to miss this place. The food is so good .. They have both veg and non veg thali meals. The ghee roast is amazing here.. The service is pretty fast. The staff are courteous n helpful.
