Madhuram Girl's Hostel - Girl's Hostel in Kota - Kota, India

Tbh,it's the best hostel in not only the landmark city but amongst all! Go through each n every hostel of kota and you'll end up saying that I haven't seen a hostel like madhuram with such spaceous rooms,mess! You can compare the mess of all the hostels and end up saying that i haven't seen such a large spaceous and homely mess!! If you're in landmark city,i will suggest you to choose madhuram over any other hostel,i have lived here for almost 1 year and it's too nostalgic now to speak about all this! "It's the best of best" thanks to all the staff and the owner lahoty sir for providing us such an environment!

After staying in this hostel ::-- ------------------------------------------------------ 1> Hostel food quality is not good. In the initial phase when you join the hostel, you will get good delicious foods and fruits. Parents will be pleased by their cook but later will degrade to the lowest. Insects, hairs, etc are often found in the food. Mess Warden, Manager and Hostel Owner don't bother when students complain about this. Unhygienic food is still served. Variety of dishes are prepared, that's good, but problem still exists. Sometimes they offer dominos pizza(veg) which is special . Only during the festival time good food is offered. Hostel food quality is a major issue. Should be improved. 2> CCTV installed is less. In entrance, basement u will find cctv, after climbing through the stairs at the junction there is cctv (where the lift passage is there), but in corridors, end points no cctv is there. Important Allen modules, money got stolen from the student's room and luggage, despite tight security. One morning, when most of the students went to do offline classes and few stayed was doing online classes, that time suddenly in the presence of warden, a male security guard (Pr**ash) tried to break door lock of a student's room, and was caught by other students passing by. Later he was replaced. 3> Rooms are good. No balcony is there. Rent is quite high. If you take a double bedded room, you stay single, after few months if your mother visits and stays with you then u will be charged per day rent with food charge seperately, where the mother stay should not be charged. Only food charge is justified. 4> Drinking water is not good on all floors. 5> Students are not allowed to go outside from hostel or stay outside at night. Warden phone call them so that they come back within 7:30pm, which I felt is good and this discipline should be maintained. Warden also track the students those who don't have their meal which I also liked. Not all wardens are good. Some are there to taunt you. 6> Biometric system stays in breakdown mode most of the times. It was seen that wrong messages were delivered to parent's mobile about check in/out timings when working temporarily, otherwise had to sign for check in/out in the copy. 7> The behavior of management staffs are not good. They take the security deposit with first month of rent in cash but when it comes to return the security money to us it's a big problem for them. Account number, with all bank details needs to be submitted. You need to wait atleast 1 month and money will come through NEFT. 8> Hostel is big in area and design is triangle shaped. One thing what the students have found out is, at night some scary things happen. I had a fearful experience. Found helpless at late nights. Couldn't sleep properly. Hostel is like a haunted place. Unusual things occur at night from 11pm to 3am. Students don't do these. After a long research these things happened repeatedly. Like someone knocks the door 2/3 times at 2am, then runs away quickly in a second, when door is opened no one is there, someone screams loudly, laughs, bed and table shift sound comes, window panes vibrate, loud haunted sounds from night birds(hardly visibile) and many more which is very difficult to explain. If u sleep alone then it can be a problem. U will pass through sleepless night. None had believed these, when these things were told to warden by students then she used to say students are doing..blame students..but that's not the thing. Those who will experience these will think of leaving the hostel immediately and never forget the name of "Madhuram" in her lifetime. 1st floor is restaurant, which remains closed, also dominos restaurant is there but at night it also remains closed. The reason behind this is unknown.

U R PIN POINTED DAILY FOR GIVING REVIEW! IT'S REALLY DISAPPOINTING! WARDENS ARE VERY BAD!! WE FOUND INSECT IN FOOD . GYM DOESN'T HAVE EQUIPMENTS. ONLY TABLE TENNIS WITHOUT NET AND RACKET. MANAGER IS REALLY BAD . FOOD IS SUPER SPICY AND UNHEALTHY. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSTEL AND THE ENVIRONMENT IS ALSO UNFAVORABLE FOR THE STUDENTS.

The hostel is great. The best highlights being the food which is hygienic and better than other hostels for sure (both quality and quantity). The hostel staff is also nice. The wardens are also very cooperative and supportive. The involvement of owner Ma'am and the family makes it much more homely and make the festivals and occasions happy. Cleaning and laundry is Good except for seasonal problems.( maybe laundry can be better) The only reason for a star less than 5 in my rating is the behaviour of the manager which I strongly dislike and not believe is an ideal one. I strongly urge owner sir to take care of it because it isn't polite, be it towards the wardens, other staff or maybe even children.

The atmosphere of the Madhuram girls hosel is just like our second home. Food quality is also good. Staff members are also cooperative and help us as much they can. I feel very gud... to be the part of this hostel

Truly a home away from home. Great hospitality. The thing I like the most is the love and care of the management towards the kids. The active involvement of owner ma'm in the festivities of the hostel makes it feel all the more warm and homely. The only thing that I think should be worked out is maybe some twists in the mess menu regularly(although I love the food here) as it does become a bit of a monotonous thing to follow a given menu for a long time. I suggest more of healthy food should also be provided. But as a whole the place is lovely and undoubtedly the best girls hostel in the locality.

"Perfect example of how a hostel should be" This hostel is absolutely superb,the staff is friendly and helpful,the facilities are great,rooms are spacious. The food is delicious,the hostel is near to all the coaching center in the area . And most importantly studious environment.The hostel celebrates all festivals as a family so u'll not feel homesick. Had a experience of a year, and probably the best hostel in landmark city.....!!

Hands down the best ho(s)tel in Landmark. Amazing ambience, spacious rooms, good food and great people. They make you feel at home, and pay heed to all sorts of complaints immediately. Would definitely recommend this hostel. P.S. The owners have a very pretty cat, another reason why the hostel feels like home.
