Good Food, Good Service....

We stopped here at around 9 pm for a quick and simple dinner, en-route from Pune to Aurangabad. Though there are the standard Vithal Kamat restaurants at regular intervals, this stretch did not seem to have one. Murphy's law I guess, you wont find one when you need one. Since this looked like a decent place and there were a few cars already parked outside, we stopped for a quick bite. Dinner was a simple affair, with some fried rice and a dal fry. Curds and papads on the side. Food was acceptable and no complaints. Only negatives: - Rest room is not good. Men can use the great outdoors, but inconvenient for women. - Some questionable local brand bottled water was available, no Aquafina or Kinley. - Insects, lots of em, due to the lights placed directly above the tables. Nothing special here, but if you are passing by and you are hungry, no harm in stopping or simple food.

Decent place. Right on the highway. Parking available. We ate here on our way to Aurangabad, after crossing the big rush of Shirdi.
