Madhuban - Indian restaurant in Rourkela - Sundargarh, India

I like the food and ambience here. There are waiters assigned to your table only. They serve you and always attend you from you occupy the table till you leave the restaurant.

The place and atmosphere is good but I am not happy with the food they served. I have ordered a food but they served a different one.

First and last time having food at this pathetic place from food with flies and rude staff. If someone wants good clean food then don't visit this place. Attached photo with the bug in food. No remorse or apologize for such an unhygienic food from staff.

This restaurant has degraded their professional ethics, food quality and customer centricity approach. I have witnessed a bizzare this afternoon, I ordered Fish Masala, however, the restaurant delivered Fish Bessar. And when I contacted the Restaurant Manager, he said this could have been possibly exchanged by the delivery guy, we shall settle down in the next order. Pathetic service and behaviour. P.S - I am born and brought up in Rourkela Sec 4 itself and the restaurant is hardly 2 Kms away from my place, hence the feedback is unbiased.

Very good restaurant , Both Quality and Quantity wise the foods were good. The staff were super friendly. Best part is their cafe , the ice cream there is just awesome , Recommended. Edit : 14/11/2022 We went for breakfast and had masala dosa along with some sweets. The masala dosa was awesome, the staff as earlier were very friendly. The sweets were also super tasty. Old is always Gold, Madhuban is proving that.

One of the best and economic hotels in rourkela...have been dining here since i was a child. The food quality and taste has been very consistent all these years. There are 2 different dining areas- indoor and outdoor. The staff are well mannered. The ambience is ok.

I visited this place after ages and was quite disappointed to see it's maintenance. The external ambience is no longer eye catching due to the withered away potted plants. Ambience on the inside is also quite dull, considering the fact that the age old furniture is still in use, with dull lighting. Service was also not upto the mark, as we had to wait on waiters. Utensils in which food were served were also very old fashioned. I had ordered American baby corn, crispy chilli chicken as starters. On the main course, veg fried rice, jeera rice, dal fry, mushroom chilli, and mushroom kadhai. Honestly, we were not at all satisfied by the taste, however the quantity was good. Overall for me, it was not a very good experience. They need to improve in terms of the latest trends to catch up with others.
