She takes her time not only to listen to you, but also to explain my diagnosis and how best to tackle my condition through lifestyle changes instead of immediately resorting to a medical/medicine intervention. By taking the time to explain exactly what is happening with my body, it helps me understand how my lifestyle changes are working, which in turn makes it easier to maintain any changes she is either recommending or that I have adopted.
