Madgaon Railway Station - Railway services in Margao - South Goa, India

An important railway station in the state, this connects many trains from North, South & West regions facilitating thousands of travellers across India. Having multiple facilities including a huge private/taxi stand and disabled friendly ramps, walkways etc, this station has seen huge development. A highlight of development is the executive paid lounge at affordable prices - huge convenience to discerning passengers.

Situated in Goa state a station operated and maintained by Konkan Railway division. All major trains halt for at least 10 minutes. Well built and all facilities made available at platform No 1. A major tourist destination, hence getting down at this station for their vacations.

Station is nice and neat. During hot weather there is a executive lounge in platform no 1 which list is mentioned in the video attached approx 236 for per person for 2 hrs and additional can be added for the same price. Ac available train schedules updates is also there. First experience in goa but nice I would say.

Madgaon Junction Railway Station is a railway junction and major station on the Indian Railways network, specifically on the South Western Railway line to Vasco da Gama, Goa and the Konkan Railway, in Madgaon, Goa, India.....The station is progressing by getting electrified and double-tracked with the addition of new platforms. Huge parking and pick up drop service....Neat and clean railway station...little crowded because only railway station near by areas...very beautiful people are in goa. There are no checking for luggage and people.....Because they trust us (jokes a part)

It's okay. You have executive lounge facility and waiting hall. It is somewhat maintained but can be improved alot. Need escalators at each platform so that elderly can easily go from one platform to another. You can board bus from margaon to margaon bus station for 20 rupees. And from there you can travel to wherever you want to go.

Railway Station is clean. There is a newly opened executive lounge on Platform 1 which is a decent place to spent few hours with clean washrooms , nice sofas and good food. Comes with a cost of 100 plus taxes per person per hour.

Major station of Goa. All trains halts here. Lot of parking & pickup, drop-in space. Clean & neat station. Proper announcements made for the trains. Also all station had proper signage all around so we can find exact way to platforms & other amenities. Waiting area is also large.

Clean proper maintain railway staion. Very much clean washroom and waiting hall . Washroom bathroom are clean.
