A beautiful place to spend the evening.. giving u a nice view all around.. one can easily spend the evening there and watch the sunset.. 30 to 40 min drive from the city depending on the rush hour block. There are no entry fees but the closing time is 6.30 pm.. also there is a siva temple under this rock but to reach there u have to travel a lil bit. Overall it was a beautiful evening.
This is a good place for family and friends to chill out at evening. Great view from top of the rock. Great spot to relax and feel the breeze.
A great place to visit in Trivandrum which protected under Kerala Archeological Department. Well maintained and the place is good to hangout with friends and family. Walking through the Bamboo-made bridge is quite an experience. Reaching the top would give a splendid view. An amphitheatre is available and it is well maintained.
Madavoorppara will be the best choice to spend evenings with your friends and family.There is a rock cut Siva temple near the madavoorppara.Its an ancient temple.There is also a children's park in the main entrance.Water can be bought from the top of the hill also.its better to bring water.Toilet facility is provided.Bamboo bridge and bamboo huts to enjoy the vibe.. the bamboo bridge will not be open in the noon time.It's written that you need permission from the archaeological department for shooting videos and vlogs.madavoorppara is also a best spot for couples also.U sit there playing some hindi melody songs watching the sunset or sunrise is a whole different feeling. : From eastfort , take the pothencode bus via chembazhanthi Pronounce it correctly u reach there correctly coz we understood that there is another place named Mudavoorpara in trivandrum itself
I went there on a weekday. Waited so much for opening. Even after 10am no response. Tried their phone number. Even they have no clue what happened. Very bad experience. Travelled so much for nothing.

Madavoor para is a simple yet beautiful place to spend some time in the evenings. Climbing the bamboo bridge we reach the top point and the view from there is really amazing and refreshing with so much greenery. There is a small children's park, the swings are broken, but still enough to engage little children for sometime. There is an amphitheatre which is neatly maintained. Whole place is adequately clean. Not so crowded either, can sit on the rocks and enjoy some soothing time. No waiting time or tickets needed. For Kariavattom-kazhakuttam residents it is at an approachable distance.
