It's a nice place to spend an hour in the evening with friends and family. Entrance is free. You can go to the top view point through a covered path way. View from the top is gr8. You can see the sea and the green field stadium etc from the top. An encient rock temple is also there
Beautiful place for weekend.Since this place is not popular so far, you can enjoy the weekend very peacefully with your family or girlfriend. Inside this place there is a small park for kids and huts for adults. And interesting thing is a bamboo bridge and hut. This will only open after 1500hrs ( on working days). For those who interested in lord shiva , there is an old temple on top of the mountain. Since this place is not popular you will find some difficult to find a store nearby. Best time to visit this place is early morning or evening time.
A hill top park maintained by Kerala archeology department. It is a very nice and calm place to enjoy the evenings with family or friends. You can enjoy the view of the city or the wind and there is a small children's park also. This is a rock hill and you can walk around there on the rocks or there are also steps to walk. A bamboo bridge will take you to even higher peaks, from there you can get a good view of the city, probably the flights landing and takeoffs from the airport. There is a Shiva temple near there and you can visit there too. You can get there by your vehicle or there are bus service available but please check the bus timings before you go. There is no dedicated parking area so you have to park the vehicle on the roadside.
A good place to relax calm and quite within the city. There is a children's park inside the compound. Currently entry is free, but I think soon a fee will be imposed. There are small bam boo huts where you can relax having a gentle breeze and a good view. The bamboo walk here is another thing which needs to be mentioned. This elevated bamboo pathway to the top hill gives an exciting walk. Only problem is parking. There is no specific parking slots for people coming to this place. One have to leave their vehicle at road side. There is a very old temple , way down the rock. And also a stream that comes from within the rock.
Good ambiance, better to spend an eve alone, very close to kazhakootam. Best for a techie in Technopark to spend an eve. The place is closed after 7pm. There is a rock cut temple from where we can go to the rock top or vice versa. We can see sunset from here. There is a bamboo bridge to go and get a top view. Bamboo bridge is build superb and its a good site see the same. There is a children's park here where you can bring your children to spend there time and play.
Great place for family kids and friends. Obviously lots of secret place for lovers. You can do those crazy things for a while till it gets noticed. As of now this place is a low profile location.
Nicely maintained. Always under cctv surveillance. Family friendly. Love the bamboo shelter here and there.

It is a small but very comfortable park for kids and adults. There are small play area and places to sit around. The FM at evenings will give you a pleasant experience too. Amidst the busy city this park is a cozy place at Kowadiar.

Despite the lively surrounding, this spot is perfect for walks, deep thoughts and aimless strolling. I find that I often visit this place to avoid stress and procrastinate my responsibilities. Also the park seems to have a mood of its own.
It is a very nice Science Park. Though please be aware it is only open for educational institutions to visit. You need to call and book your visit and the park will be open exclusively for you. As of now they welcome only one group per day. Yo
