Machhodari Park is just another park in Varanasi near to Rajghat. There is nothing exceptional about this park, except that you can spend some quite time in the middle of the nature. When we went there in 2017, garbage was scattered all over the place. Varanasi administration should take a note of this and maintain it properly, recently I visited this place again in 2021 then I saw lots of homeless people started living around the Park which annoyed me, some of them also started to begging. I don't know what to say but Park is still amazing.
Big and neat and clean park
This place was "once a park". Now it's something not a park at all. It's inside an oval shaped boundary which has a big "open" garbage dumping ground and other side is a road, always crowded and thus, petrol diesel smoke in the air almost all the time. Nowadays, even the entrance to the park couldn't be found; meaning, not visible normally. Un-breathable smell both sides makes this place 'not a park'.

I think it's one of the most attractive and beautiful park in Varanasi. Its more or less like a jungle with with eucalyptus tress and jogging route in between the trees . Even if are late in morning you won't feel much sunlight here as it's so dense.
