Machan The River Side Fiesta - Restaurant & Camps - Restaurant in South Gola Range - Nainital, India

The food, service and ambience of this place was exceptional. Everything we ordered was delicious and the outdoor seating was just delightful. Our server Sanjay was extremely helpful and offered great service.

The tea was so refreshing and the main attraction for me was the view. It was amazing, the hills, the river and seating.

Food is overpriced in terms of quantity. Quality is normal. Can visit with family. But the quantity they give is like a prasad if you are ordering for 2 people. It's better to have a Maggi or some paratha Inspite of having dal rice.

The location of the cafe is truly enchanting, situated right by the riverside. The serene flow of the water, the gentle rustling of the leaves, and the refreshing breeze create a tranquil ambiance that immediately transports you to a state of relaxation. The proximity to the river adds a touch of natural beauty and serenity to the cafe's atmosphere.

While you are going towards Padampuri from Bhimtal you should definitely stop at this place. A unit of the famous Machan restaurant on the Bhimtal-Bhowali road, the location of this place is excellent. You will love the outdoor sitting area they provide and which is beside the small river that flows alongside. The food is very good and is similar to the original Machan. The rates are economical and the service is good. They have to serve down almost 20-25 steps and thus the service can be a little slow. But the ambiance and the views just make you forget everything. They also provide access to the river below and after having food, you can go down to the river and dip your feets in the water and just relax. There is also a small play area having slides, swings, etc. and which the kids will like a lot.

So at 8 am, we left from mukteshwar to back home delhi, we had a stop by at this restaurant because i had already eaten in Machan, Nainital before, So i ordered breakfast items only, the list goes as chole bhature, aloo parantha, gobi parantha, paneer parantha. The food was very tasty, all the paranthas was pretty good, and it is difficult for to choose the best one. So this is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from my side if you are visiting to mukteshwar, this restaurant comes in the way.

Ambience is the USP of this place, food was very costly but good. There is an option to dine besides river as well and a playground for kids is also built. Overall costly but good place to dine and rest after tiring mountain journey.

The food was delicious and expensive. The location is 5 star although the restaurant charged us 50 Rs per person to sit in the open space, which I didn't like. Location is serene in the valley along the river bed, very picturesque. One of their staff was very rude and kept on repeating that sitting in open facility will be charged and then I had to tell him to get lost. I would have given 5 star but taking away 1 star for staff behaviour.
