Was at Kompally and tried this new restaurant called Maa Ooru Biryani. The ambience is rustic with small dining area . Their speciality is Karnataka famous Donne biryani and other regional delicacies. Here are the dishes that I tried and liked . It's decent place to have But the cost are high than normal Taste is ok but the price makes it more But to have decent atmosphere with friends we can have a look into it
Taste of chicken was added with more spices than required. They have not even given water. We need to buy water or cool drink. There is govt rule to provide water for free to the customers if they don't like to buy packaged water
Recently i have been to maa ooru biryani. With small seating arrangement with paints on the wall gives us village vibes. We have enjoyed donne biryani which unique. Miryala mamsam is spicy mutton appetizer made from freshly grounded spices which is a must try here. Rice is flavour full and i really love Kshatriya chicken kebab. Traditional dessert junnu is served here. The place has a zero plastic policy and food is served on a banana leaf.
Newly opened joint in Kompally & been there the other day. They offer donne biryani with a decent village setup with banana leafs as a substitute for the plates. I had kshatriya kodi kebab biryani and it was very well fried. The service was decent.
Ordered chicken kebabs, unfortunately it was not kebab but deep fried chicken pieces which is not cooked well.
