One of the holy place of Bihar and the temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. It is situated on the Mundeshwari Hills of Kaimur, Bihar. It is the oldest Hindu temple in Northern India. No entry fee is required to visit the temple. One has to climb few steps to reach the temple. Along with Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva is also worshipped here. The place is very surreal and worth visiting..
Mundeshwari Temple in Bhabhua, Bihar, is an ancient and spiritually significant site. This temple, believed to be one of the oldest functioning temples in India, boasts of a unique blend of Hindu and Tantric architecture. The peaceful and serene atmosphere at the temple complex makes it an ideal place for meditation and spiritual introspection. However, accessibility to the temple may be a challenge for some visitors due to its hilly location. Nevertheless, the historical and cultural richness of Mundeshwari Temple, along with the beautiful surrounding landscapes, makes it a must-visit destination for those interested in exploring Bihar's heritage and spirituality.
