This has been one of the most traumatising experience I have ever had. The receptionist tried to cheat us on our bill for Rs2900 And when we asked for an explanation they revised the rate. And this is for just two fish thali. And when they revised the rate to 1300 we were speechless because they behaved as though it was so normal and didn't even say sorry or admitted that it was a mistake. When we confronted them that how could they make such an error. They told us to leave immediately
Visiting this place from childhood days. Same from 20 years approx. Though the rates has changed drastically, and presently food quality has also changed. Comparing the price food quality has gone little low. But still a value for money option.
If you're looking for hygiene and taste, it's an average hotel. Don't expect like star hotels. It's an improvised road side hotel. For me it seems bit overpriced. Have doubts about freshness of some costly menus. Overall you may visit once to check what's going.
I ordered chitol thali. It was delicious. Dal vegetable and bhaja was also tasty. Must try if u r in guwahati. Very near to guwahati railway station paltan bazar side.

It is Bengali food hotel . Food are tasty . Cleanliness aspects you have to compromise little bit. Lot of Bengali items Lunch and Dinner options available. Price wise little upper side. It is situated just near Diiasco hotel or Near IndoMahalaxmi hotel.
Seriously saying this is not good hotel to have lunch. In paltanbazar u will get alot of options. Veg thali they only serve rice, dal, mix veg, alu fry in 70 rps. Not recommended
