Maa Gomti Udgam Sthal, GRAM PHULHAR - Place of worship in Phulhar - Pilibhit, India

This place is known as Phulhar lake and this is the origin of Gomti River. Gomti river is a major river of Uttar Pradesh and capital of UP Lucknow is situated on the bank of Gomti river. This is a awesom place for weekend picnic purpose.

This place has its own historical and religious importance. The river Gomto originated from here. There is a Jal Kund here thats water never gets dry. The sourse is this kund. Beside the kund there are many small temples and a main temple of Maa Gomti. Many big size fishes and variety of turtles are there in the Pond. Generally sthal is not crowded. A place for mental peace....

Very beautiful and historical place. Mother Gomti has originated from Fulhar lake. This lake has mythological significance. It is said that many sages did penance here. The place has been beautified very well by the Pilibhit district administration. You can see different types of turtles in the lake. There is also a good arrangement for eating and drinking here. There is also a kids zone for the kids. You can come here with your whole family and enjoy. It is a good place for both sightseeing and peace of mind.

Can visit if you are in Pilibhit along with Tiger reserve and other places...Being developed nicely, Gomti river starts from here, the place has temples, Lake with turtle breeding, time 1-2 hr....

Very Beautiful and gorgeous place in pilibhit..You can go here from puranpur to madhotanda. If you want to see the maa Gomti Aarti then you saty here till Evening. Very beautiful Ganga Arti like banaras you must come here one time to see this lovely event

Nice very old , historic place related to our Sanatan dharm. People have forget these places. Whenever we visit this side , we have to go these ancient places.
