A famous and very sacred temple of the district and, the form of Maa Durga you see here is probably rare in any temple pan world. This form has her head detached from the body. You will not face any problem of conveyance here as it is just by the national highway no. 27. It is said that the wish one asks from the deity here and ties a coconut in the name of that wish, is certainly fulfilled.

Maa Chhinmastika Mandir. An incarnation of Maa Durga. A sacred Temple for hindus located in Kanti on NH 27. It is near the Kanti NTPC Plant. It is merely 8-9 kms from Chandni Chowk, Muzaffarpur. The temple is very beautiful, very well managed in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. Basic amenities like drinking water, toilets all available in the premise. Puja Samagri consisting of every essential items for puja is available in the temple. One can buy prasad, flowers, agarbatti etc in one package as a bundled item worth Rs170,200 etc. There are two packages:- one for mannat and other for normal puja. Pujaris and other staffs are very helpful and polite. Its a temple worth visiting.
