M. V. Hospital for Diabetes - Diabetes center in Chennai - Chennai, India

My dad has been going to this hospital for past 12 yrs and always consulted with Dr. Vijay Vishwanath and we absolutely loved the care and service provided. We have High regards to Dr. Viswanathan. Recently doctor Vishwanathan was not available and we met Dr. JAICHITRA SURESH. She is the rudest doctor. Worst experience we ever had meeting a doctor. My dad mentioned that he doesn't speak English and she only kept talking to him in English. And was very rude to my father and to me. Horrible doctor. She didn't even care to answer our doubts and started talking very harshly. Worst person I ever met in health care industry. Bad attitude, very unpleasant and doesn't know how to treat patient with respect. Absolutely horrifying and dad felt very bad and upset abt this experience and I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

The staff were very helpful in assisting, guiding and listening to the patients problems. The staff was very polite and professional. Especially, the foot clinic and diet team. However, the trainee doctors (junior) should be more patience when dealing with senior citizen (72+). I understand that they have many patients waiting, but listening and spending 5 more minutes will help the patient to explain his health problems better. Eventually, it was worth visiting hospital for treatment

One of the prestigious hospitals in Chennai world renowned for their research and treatment of diabetes mellitus. They are a full package hospital for holistic treatment of diabetes. The doctors have decades of experience in the treatment of this disorder and patients come here from all over the globe. The managing director Mr. Vijay is one of the most accomplished doctor in this field. He is extremely polite and very approachable in attending to your queries. However you may have to spend more than 8 hours to get yourself tested and treated by the hospital.

They are like gods on earth for Diabetes patients. I have joined my Mother-in-law to this hospital. We tried many hospitals in Guntur. But no use. Finally we reached to this hospital. We stayed 11 days. By very 3rd day onwards , we saw result. Here Canteen is very good. They provide diabetic diet. we wouldn't get oil food or unhealthy food. * Very nice hospital environment * Very supportive Staff * Great support for Telugu people for those coming from Andhra and Telangana, separate Telugu counters are there. Most of the Staff speak Telegu. * Well experienced Great Doctors * Less expensive ( Compare to corporate Hospitals) and More comfort. * Advanced medicine * More comfortable Diabetic Footwear (Well designed for Patients). ************************************ Thank You so much M. Visited Podiatry/Outpatient.. 1. Good & Experienced Surgeons who treat small diabetic foot ulcers in the Podiatry itself as outpatient 2. Crowded almost always 3. Bit Expensive consultation & footcare treatment 4. But they clearly seem to know what they are talking about. 5. Special Footwear Manufacturing Unit within the hospital.. 6. Footwear is bit on the pricey side - For My mom it cost Rs4500.. 7. Canteen food is good & worth the price See photos below for more details on footwear
