For every patient they are doing complete checkup even if you have done the similar tests already. They have foot test to check on the leg issues.. they suggest excercise and slippers for leg related issues. Dietician will give complete list of food and quantity to take. Over all it took 5 hours to complete all test, procedures and consultation.
I'm a patient of this Velachery branch tested regular,With utmost regret wish to inform that I was prescribed wrong tablets due to which I had severe urinary infection resulted in various other complications. This is happened inspite of me knowledgeable in healthcare and reported repeatedly about the problems but I was asked to continue with the medicines. Don't know what will happen happen to patients of less knowledgeable.
Infrastructure is good. Very high fees not worthy for that. ..The lab technicians are not having enough experience to even take the blood from the patient for blood test. One of the Lab technician pierced my mom's hand in many different places in hand to take out the blood... They should be trained well... Patients are not the testers for them. The staff working in velachery hospital are very scared to even ask a query to doctor. I think doctor is not having good rapport with the staff. Important thing that has to be noted --- the doctor did not suggest to do nerve test in legs when my mom was having numbness and leg pain and lap pain severely. The doctor just asked to go for walk. Finally my mom leg pain became severe and I took her to neurologist where they diagnosed that she is having severe diabetic neuropathy... And the neurologist doctor said that my mom has come to him with worst level of diabetic neuropathy which could have cured well if she was diagnosed and treated in the initial stage. Also I checked with another Diabetic doctor with the prescription of M.V. Diabetes prescription.. It seems that the dosages are very high to make the sugar level low.....
The doctor is not having knowledge to even suggest us to go to neurologist or to take nerve test in the legs..... He was not at all friendly... Doctor fees is very high but not worthy. Please consult neurologist if the patient is having different type of leg pain and sleepless night due to leg pain or numbness.. My feedback is hard for the doctor but it will benefit the patients who read this...
