Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College is a private medical college at Kolenchery near Kochi in the state of Kerala. It is a Christian minority institution established and administered by Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church (MOSC). At present MOSC is home to a Medical College, College of Nursing, Nursing School, Super Speciality Hospital, postgraduate degree courses in General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Anaesthesiology and Diploma courses in Anaesthesiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics & Psychiatry and DM course in Neonatology. The vast and sprawling Medical College complex is spread over an extensive area of 35-acre and is located about 26 km east from the heart of Ernakulam District Headquarters. The college is around 16 km east from Thripunithura Railway station and around 30 kilometers from Cochin International Airport. Maintained consistently high result in the first, second and final MBBS examinations with several distinctions and first classes from the time of inception.

I was a bystander and spent almost 15 days near critical care ICU. I have no comments on the doctors as they are communicating effectively and providing efficient treatment and I am not eligible to comment on other parts of the treatment. I would like to comment on the BAD facility management. During my visit to critical care. Attenders are using the a lift to move patients in and out of ICU for CT scanning and other related activities,same lift is using to move bio hazard without any precaution and doctors and other bystanders use same lift, worst part there is construction going on there construction workers are using the same facility with their tools , sand cement etc all are using same lift !!!!! I have seen using the same lift patients with head injury and slightly exposed wounds admitted in critical icus for scanning in and out. It's very easy to get infection within this hospital for patients and bystanders especially nearby icus and critical care ICU. The bio hazard management is bad and all the smell are spread across bystanders sitting area. I know some people have already made complaints during that time, it was not taken seriously by the management. My Advice to someone reading: Don't go to this hospital's critical care ICU / any ICU service unless you don't have a choice. If you have money ask for an isolated room in the ICU. They don't control the crowd with patients, the security department is not efficient as they don't check who is coming or leaving which is not good practice for facilities like critical care. Patients might get infection from here itself due to bad facilities management. There are 2 lifts in critical care and nobody cares about patients hygiene etc. I don't have any bad experience from individuals from this hospital. All of them are helping , but it's evident they don't follow a good facilities management which ultimately leads to personal loss. Hope this helps someone.

I have been admitted in this hospital four times from 2020. I really appreciate surgery 2 team headed by Dr. Vijy Paul Thomas for my recovery. I will never forget the nurses also for their kindful attitude . Never seen any one of them using a mobile phone while on duty. Dedicated doctors and nurses are an asset to this hospital.

Really bad experience, I was a bystander no proper bed for bystander but bystander should be there full time . No improvement in health condition got worst, i don't understand what did doctors do simply took all type of test . Nurses doesn't even mind if the patient is not feeling well. Called customer care number lady was soo rude Really bad experience Please don't go to this hospital They will make your health condition worst.

One of the promising medical colleges in Ernakulam district. This institution has become a center for excellence with infrastructure facilities such as well-equipped laboratories, ample lecture halls with audiovisual conveniences, a large conference hall, an attractive playground, a modern basketball court, an indoor stadium, a gymnasium, etc.

Booking team doesn't know when Doctor will be consulting. The booking team and nurses near consultation is not in sync. Posting this while waiting in the queue. They asked us to reach by 10am. After reaching here Pediatric Doctor arrived at 11:30 am. Now the consultation started. Very bad experience and its administrative experience.

MOSC Hospital Kolenchery is one of the worst ever hospital I have ever seen, It took hours and hours for scanning. I don't know what type management is here, though they are doing renovation in hospital but they need to arrange it accordingly. Patients are yelling at medical staff due to their mismanagement and delays. Very poor service here. Pls rethink before anyone want to come here, you may have better choices than this.
