M crown Hotel - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

Located in the heart of the business district Police Bazaar, so convenient to access. But the flipside is that the street noise travels up into the rooms, even though they are situated on the 3rd floor. Rooms are spacious and comfortable , bathrooms also very clean and well appointed. The buffet breakfast has a wide range of items. Service is a little slow and needs to be improved. But staff is very polite and helpful. Parking is also not a problem as they have their own space. One drawback - cars are not allowed to pull up in front of the entrance, so that's a bit inconvenient.

Not bad.. !!! Not bad at all.. ..will suggest others also to go try out the place ... Matter of fact everybody in this world should go to this place and experience what I have experienced,, Such a lovely and beautiful place to hang out with family and friends especially after a very long and tiresome day at work. Everything was perfect until I entered the washroom,, the smell was unbearable and even though there was a NO SMOKING.!!! sign hung out on the wall but some idiotic and uneducated people still gathered in the washroom to smoke, not only that but I got the smell of an illegal substance (my wild guess would be Marijuana..!!!) also, which led me to be concerned and the authorities who's responsible for neglecting that should reconsider putting a washroom attending person in that place so that other people like me would feel safe using the washroom anytime I want to without any disturbance and overcrowding in the washroom... Other than that everything was perfect and I along with my friends and family had the time of our lives. .. Situated at the middle of Police Bazar. Cozy, clean and spacious rooms. Their complementary breakfast is awesome. They have their own parking lot. Nearly nothing to complain about except the price. Besides all the goodies on offer their price is at the higher side though.

The hotel is in the city centre, so you can easily get cabs for travel within the city. The restaurant food (I ordered veg) is awesome. The breakfast although was good but had no variety, so you will feel bored on the 3rd day of breakfast!

We 3 families stayed in the Hotel for 3 nights. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast and Dinner was tasty and wholesome. Food quality is good... We recommend this hotel...

Coming to the room Last night we booked 2 rooms in which AC was not working . After calling and follow up for 2 hours they change and allotted us room while giving us excuse that there is no room but the hotel is almost vacant. As we got new room at morning we got to know that water supply is jam and exhaust fan is also not working. Room Service is very Late. Only The Good Thing about Hotel is Location as well as spaciousness Room.

We stayed at this hotel just over a week ago. By far it was one of the worst hotels in all of our tour. We were extremely excited when we saw that the hotel was right in the middle of the renowned Police Bazaar (market) but quickly came to know that it wasn't going to be good. The entrance of the hotel is through a mall or a complex which does not bode well for security. Me & my friend were followed by a couple of guys almost inside and the security was barely able to shoo them away. The hotel itself isn't any great. It still seems to be under construction as there were patches of woodwork still visible and painting needed to be finished. The room itself was okay but we had no AC and were provided with just a stand fan. There was even an AC remote and vents for AC but it wasn't functioning? Why advertise your hotel with AC when in reality it didn't have any? The washroom cum bathroom did not have a vent and hence we were left feeling suffocated and had to open the door to let the smell out. The door itself was so heavy & bulky that it was difficult to push & pull it. The receptionist incorrectly tried to charge me for extra water bottles when it was for the other rooms. The breakfast buffet was nice. Their hospitality, service and overall lack of amenities makes this hotel is a big no no. Would not recommend staying here for the price we paid.
