We booked a 6-day Rajasthan trip through Luxe Comfort Travels (aka LCT) for our family of 7, and I am so happy I picked them over anyone else. Keep reading for our detailed experience... The good: 1. Detailed itinerary: LCT's owners are a well-traveled couple, and they bring their own tourism experience to clients. They understood our travel needs and preferences, and designed itinerary accordingly. They did not hesitate to adjust itinerary multiple times upon our request. 2. Ease of doing business: A travel coordinator was assigned to us the moment we signed up with LCT. Having a real person on the other end to talk to made a lot of difference. We live abroad, so this aspect of travel planning was much needed. 3. Regular Engagement: LCT did not disengage with us after our bookings were done. On the contrary, they got more and more involved (without being too nosy) as our trip approached. They briefed us about the trip and provided all vouchers well in advance. Once our trip commenced, they did a quick connect to ensure our trip had begun as expected. 4. We were particularly happy with our stay at Hotel Lal Garh Fort and Palace at Jaisalmer. The hotel was stunning and well-maintained (our room's picture is attached). Their staff was super prompt with services. Breakfast was the highlight! They provided hot, fresh and yummy food to a big crowd within minutes. The could-be-better: 1. I'd love to receive a detailed write-up from LCT (as an addendum to the itinerary) about local food and drinks. Food is an integral part of tourism for us, and although we knew what to eat (and drink), we did struggle to find the best places to eat (both for taste buds and wallet). Also, some guidance from them on where (and what) to shop would come handy. 2. We won't mind getting a talkative driver next time! Although our driver was very calm and respectful and had amazing driving skills, we'd prefer someone who would guide us throughout and engage with us more often. 3. We were disappointed with our stay at Rani Mahal at Jodhpur. There was rat spotted in one of our rooms, another room had terrible sewage smell, breakfast was cold and had extraordinarily sloppy service, rude staff (one of the waiters was heard screaming - "koi 9:30 ke baad aaya toh mai khana nahi dunga"; he made sure he was loud enough to be heard), we found metallic nut in one of the curries and the list goes on!! We didn't really expect such terrible experience at a place that was so expensive! I understand these things were beyond LCT's control, but I thought it important to put it out there so that readers do not end up in that $hitty Mahal. Summary: Luxe Comfort Travels are reliable and friendly, and I will not hesitate a bit in booking my next travel with them. So, I started my journey with Luxe Comfort Travels with an itinerary to Char Dham Uttarakhand for my family of 6 persons (parents, parents-in-law and aunt) all senior citizens. With so many options around, I was apprehensive of what might it have in store for us, the first being what sort of vehicle they would provide for us. However, we were amazed with the kind of Traveller they provided that too at a place like Uttarakhand. It was a very posh vehicle with leatherette seats and with curtains and space for our luggage. Secondly, the hotels that were booked were all very classy and had buffet options as well. Every arrangement was done keeping in mind comfort of the pilgrims. Vidhi, the coordinator was available 24*7 and handled everything very calmly. On certain occasions when I was really tensed of outcomes, she said it's all under control and was extremely helpful. Coming to Darshan at all Char Dhams, everything went perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip of 11 days. I am booking my second trip with Luxe currently and am sure they will be my go-to tour organisers in future as well! Kudos team, keep it up
