It's amazing to be able to share a piece of history with the city itself... located in a very calm, tranquil and upscale area in South Delhi... We were very lucky to have found this treasure trove...a paradise for pet lovers too. Every nook and corner is so aesthetic and mediative. The natural setting is unbelievable and top it up with special attention to every guests comfort. Friendly service and and old world charm. Even a 5 star can beat the experience... loved it so much...
I had a great start to my India trip here. So friendly and my bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and home made. The location is very peaceful and safe lots to walk to nearby such as Kahn market, Lodhi Gardens and tombs. I highly recommend.
Absolutely beautiful stay. Went there to visit a friend who was staying there. The place actually gives the warm vibes of home. Food served is also very taste and good. Go for it without giving a second thought.
Hotel tres calme (pour Delhi), avec tres beau jardin et piscine, les chambres sont simples et propres, le personnel est tres serviable, et on sent une reelle attention a l'environnement (compostage des dechets, pas de bouteille plastique par exemple). La piscine est bienvenue apres quelques heures de visite a Delhi! Les proprietaires sont a l'ecoute meme si plutot distantes.
My family and I have been to this place a lot and really enjoy it. It is very well located and the hosts are very charming and attentive. The house and garden are just beautiful with the animals and vegetation it is a haven of peace. The food is also excellent with fresh garden food.
If you value old world charm, an easy going homey atmosphere along with first class Colonial Club style ambience, food and service, this is absolutely THE Place to stay. Superbly Located in the heart of Lutyens Delhi this lovely home brings back the era of the spacious days. Lovely lawns and gardens and bird feeders and vegetable garden and nursery and swimming pool and al fresco dining. This is a rare gem in the hustle and bustle of this 'brave new world'. An oasis of calm and politeness amidst the chaos and brashness of the city.
What a lovely place! Feels like a family home with the most beautiful gardens, really have to see it to believe it, with a clean swimming pool and perfect lawn with badminton net and rackets. I came here with my wife and two children and we just loved our two days. Lodi gardens is very nearby (3 min walk) and is perfect for a relaxing day in Delhi. The hotel is in a very upmarket part of Delhi and the nearby Kahn Market is definitely worth seeing for the finer things that India has to offer but all rather pricy. The room at Lutyens Bungalow was clean with lovely bedding and hot water with very good water pressure too. The food was like great home cooking. Meal times are sociable too with a table set in the gardens. The food was simple (in good way), homely and made with produce from the gardens served by staff who really care. Will definitely return and spend a bit longer here. I have found staying in Delhi a bit hectic in the past but here the world just slows down and it is truly is a place to relax.
