Amazing .The whole zoo was just fantastic all kinds of animals .Very good vibes for children and parents. I was just there for almost 3 hrs and got lost with it .You just need energy and good friends to see the whole zoo. Just very best zoo .

Amazing experience!!! Good to see most of the wild animals. You can go with your loved ones and enjoy the trip. In this zoo, Most of the wild animals are there like Lion, Tiger, Zirrafe, Ape, Python snakes, Deer, Bear, Duck, Swan, Crocodile, Parrots(more than 20 species), White Tiger, Wild Cat, and many more. So I recommend you have to visit by foot not using a train or battery operated vehicle

Good place to spend some time. Should add direction on roads for people to understand how to go about. Snake region was the best. In most of the zoo we spend time searching where the snake is. Here they are easily visible. Owl place is also great.

I love zoo and I always love to visit if I am in new city... Till now i almost visited more than 10 zoo in the india... Zoo price is little bit costly and price for adult is Rs80... Firstly zoo location is not good... Anyone can here by own vehicle or by auto rickshaw... This is near sachivalay... Paid parking is available just outside the zoo... Ticket counter having sitting arrangement also for some rest... Main attraction inside the zoo is toy train which is extra cost if you want... The toy train experience is moderate... And main animal attraction is white tiger, giraffe, vulture, lion, tiger, hippo etc... Washroom is available... Restaurants is available... The best thing I observed is they charge you 20 Rs for a your own plastic bottle and after visit while you came out if you have water bottle then they return your 20 Rs back to you.. This is just for the clineliness...

This zoological park was established on November 29, 1921 to commemorate the arrival of the Prince of Wales to Lucknow. Its establishment was conceived by the then Governor Sir Harcourt Butler. The complex was established in the 18th century by Nawab Nasiruddin Haider, the then Nawab of Awadh as a mango orchard. At that time it was known as Banarasi Bagh. Even today, in the colloquial language, the locals call it Banarasi Bagh. In the evening by the Nawabs, as the evening of Awadh used to be famous, a Baradari was built to sit here, which is still situated in the middle of the zoological garden with all its grandeur and dignity. In the year 2001, the zoological park was changed from "Prince of Wales Zoological Gardens Trust" to Lucknow Zoological Garden. In the year 2015 the zoological park was changed from "Lucknow Zoological Garden" to "Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden, Lucknow".

Soo many animals and birds there... and too big.... There is also a plane but there is no entry there....... Vaha pe train bhi h jo ghumati h lekin uske alag price h....
