Lourdes Cafe - Cafe in Raia - South Goa, India

We were searching for a cafe on our way to Margao from Ponda. Realised there are hardly any and finally came across this one. Nice place in terms of ambience and seating. Coffee is good. Food can be avoided They have lot of variety on the menu but it was really average. We tried the chicken roll, chicken burger and prawn rissois. We should not have ordered food. Go here for beverages , avoid the snacks

By far one of the best cafes we have experienced in South Goa. Everything on the menu is delicious. The owner, Swizel, is such a warm person and always attends to any specific customization you may need. It's a family venture of over two decades (they have their own bakery too) and she's doing a great job taking the torch forward with this cafe. It's located in the quaint village of Raia and an absolute must go to place.

Most of the times tables are not wiped and tissues you have to grab from other tables. If tissues are over they dont bother to replace with more. Always serving same bakery products, no changes. Most of the times owner is not present in the bakery always the place is run by cashier and waiter poorly managed. They show big menu but only 30% menu is available. Old Lourdes bakery is more better managed.

I've been here many times and would sure recommend anyone who reads this, to visit Lourdes cafe if you are in for a non veg goan snack. A quick bite place. They have their own bakery and my whole family knows the taste of their food, there's goan quality. I had an early dinner and now This review is making me hungry already.

A local Cafe in Goa.. u need to experience the pastries and the popular sausage Pau bun.. an absolute delight. The ambience is a definite 5 star.
