The place is an absolute delight. The hallmark of a great restaurant is if it can provide you with freshly cooked food, which is rare to find but you are getting it here. It feels like I am having food in my home. The food is damn delicious, we ordered an extreme variety with local puttu with green curry - Kerela delight to Italian delicacy Red sauce pasta, and amazingly both taste equally good. The staff and our dear aunty is extremely friendly and warm. The place has an excellent hygiene with conscious owner and the ambience is soothing and you can choose the view you want from street side to backwater. If in Kochi don't miss it. It's worth every penny. Good people at good places when provide great food, it shouldn't be missed! Recommended for every traveller!

This is a great spot for tea or coffee. The hostess is really welcoming and lovely. We only had masala tea and coffee (both good) but hope to return for food. Great setting with a view of the water.

The whole ambience and atmosphere was amazing, and the view through the window was incredible. Also the owner of the cafe, Rebecca Aunty's food was amazing and felt like a homely meal.

Loved this place. The food is great. Affordable price and good quantity. The ambience is amazing, facing the lake. Well lit. Neatly kept. There is a neat and spacious washroom. The service is also very good. Definitely a must visit cafe near the Fort Kochi boat Jetty, after a whole day of fun in the island.

The food was delicious, the staffs were very friendly. The place was silent and peaceful the time we visited. It was around 1500hrs. The interior was designed so perfectly. It was very colorful. Nice breezes from Vembanad Lake. Lots of soft toys for kids to play. A small smoking area to smoke if desired. Had a huge hall for private functions too. Definitely a place to revisit if we visit Fort Kochi again.

absolutely adorable spot! the family is lovely, the food tastes amazing -- it's as if ur mom cooked for u at home. nice interior as well and i like how u can look down on the streets to observe day to day life. really enjoyed my afternoon at LA cafe thank you!!!

The ambience of this place is so relaxing. The hosts are really accommodating. I went in a little late when the HEALTHY food options were over, so aunty freshly made egg curry and chapati for me, which was yummy. The entire staff is very polite and sweet.

We went here after doing some digging on the internet to see what cafes in and around Fort Kochi are worth trying out and have to be honest, this place is SIMPLY AWESOME. We had french fries, pasta, chicken biriyani, bluberry mojito and vanilla milkshake. BURP! Sounds quite a mouthful but they all tasted really brilliant. Ambience - Simple furniture but elegant interiors. It is a spacious place and has a hall for a small crowd to host parties or other special events or occasion. With the view of the sea from the huge windows and good music, the ambience is simply chilling and leisurely relaxing. Different places and furniture to sit and try around.. each area has its own vibe. With the building being extremely old, adds a very very rustic feeling to the relaxing mood. Lot of places and angles to take awesome photos as well. Food - FRESH and HOT! And TAAASSSTTYTT! Special mention to Mr Ashwin, manager / owner of the place and also to the chef. TOP SERVICE! My friend wanted to have red sauce pasta and this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu, but never say never, Ashwin and Chef agreed to it and got it done! And it was served looking awesome and tasted the same! They do have specials and for certain things you can ask for things off menu and they would try to customise it for you, just like how we got the red sauce pasta which wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu! Simply Awesome! French Fries, wow! You could taste the freshness of it! Chicken biriyani, served hot and chicken so HOT (there was smoke coming out of it when I tried to peel it off!!) YET Tender and cooked really well! The rice was spot on!!! Just a bit disappointed that there was no pappadam or boiled egg, because I love that combo of biriyani. But well, the biriyani was soooo gooodd that this could be let go! Watch out, the vanilla milkshake and bluberry mojito were so large and taste brilliant that you can easily fill your stomach with them! But boneless, they were toooo goooood toooo.. !! Overall a spot 4.99 out of 5 for the place! Loved the fact that they could do the special request of making something that wasn't on the menu and everything served hot and well. Loved the friendly nature of the staff as well!
