We went in January 7 2023. As it's nearing to summer. Dam was not full. So we were able to drive in the middle of the dam. There is small forest at the middle. Atmosphere was superb. Pollution free. Peace of mind. We did bird photography there. Check out some pics
Lonavala is a very beautiful place and it becomes even more beautiful during the rainy season. There are many other forts like Lohagad here. Or many dams have been built. The Tiger Point here is a very exciting place. Has been my best experience. A place situated on the top of Lonavala hills. The Lonavala Dam located here is as big like sea.
Another best place of Lonavala is the dam visit only on Wednesday so that you can feel the place and enjoy the water fall over dam...in weekends check out photos there is no place to stand....going over weekend with small kids is not suggested....you have ample parking place....if planned weekends drive will need lots of patience,site seeing would will take long hours full of traffic jam....if you want to go for waterfall where there is less crowd then you can meet locals they will charge upto 500rs but it's worth to spend it they will take you some magnificent waterfall where you will find very less crowded..

Very good to have walk and peace of mind, can visit Kanifnath maharaj temple which is inside the lonavala lake, opens when water is less in lake, must visit temple, you will feal calm and relaxed in the temple. Make sure don't ruin the place. Lonavala is basically best to visit in rainy season but make sure you come on weekdays.
SCENIC! it justifies used as a hill station. If you reach there on time you will enjoy the most that it has to offer. Fog, sunrise, sunset, party you will find it all. There are options for you to park you vehicle and also to order food and have the best if bhaji, maggie, chai and coffee. You won't regret you video to there place, if you are close by then it has many other attractions nearby to offer. The people there are courteous and will be at you service to sell there individual stuffs. Be vigilant and careful if you are there at an unusual time. Need not to worry as whenever I have been to the place I have never seen it empty. Every hours of the day has something to offer to you.
