The two titans of the Freedom Struggle had succeeded in erecting the bronze statue befitting the monumentality of Tilak. The statue was installed on February 28, 1929. Tilak had passed away on August 1, 1920. The statue still stands unperturbed. The work of casting the bronze statue came to Vadodara at Mahadev Kashinath Kolhatkar's studio. He was one of the pioneers in India in that art form. "Even the Mumbai statue of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, which stands at Chowpatty, was cast at our Vadodara studio. The job had been outsourced to my grandfather back then," said Vivek Kolhatkar, who is the custodian of his grandfather's legacy.

After Renovation this garden has changed a Lot. You can visit this in early morning for exercise. Lot of people visit this during the whole day. I recommend this to visit. It is very neat and clean. You can sit there or just walk and take the positive vibe. There is 1000 year old Baobab Tree.

In this area you can't find thus type of garden even not in whole Ahmedabad. There security guards are friendly. Also washroom and overall park is clean: you won't feel this is public washroom it is exactly same level of five-star hotel.

Lok Manya Tilak Bagh which is the name of a Burts station and also has a garden near it. From where all buses are available.

Best Garden near Laldarwaja Ahmedabad. Good Maintenance, Nice place to Sitting and chill-out with Friend.
