Loiee's Sweets And Snacks - Restaurant in Chennai - Chengalpattu, India

I bought sweets and savories at loiee. Gulab jamun and badhushaa. Both of them were too costly but tasting really bad and smelling as if it was made out of old left over oil. Sweets and savories both were not freshly made. Tasted like old stock. I would definitely not recommend this sweet stall. Dont believe and go just by the name "loiee".

After several more visits to this place I would like to retract on my earlier review of this place, for several reasons. The first is that while the place is on the main road there is hardly any parking available. It is very hard to get your vehicle out at times, especially now with a mound of mud and a perenial pool outside. Second, on a few occasions I have noticed that the people at the counter pass off old stock and packets with expired content in them (please check expiry date before buying). One of my friends even had a minor allergic reaction to some of the mini samosas from one such package. The taste of most food items is quite good though. Third, there are lots of flies in the place (maybe because it is on the main road), apart from a few cockroaches and a very well-fed rat. I have seen the rat with my own eyes, running across the shop to a room to the side. Next, today and on a few other occasions I had to wait a long time for the order. Today's order (chole batura) was finally cancelled. It seems this has happened earlier too wherein the cook decides on whether to make the order and the manager seems to have no control over it. The helper inside the kitchen, unaware that I could understand his language perfectly, mentioned that the dough was spoilt and that the cook had earlier too not bothered to cook some orders or to take care of the dough. He asked the manager to inform the customer to cancel the order, all this after a half hour wait. Not sure who is running the joint, the cook or the manager. Also, the prices are almost comparable to Gupta Bhavan's prices. With all these issues with the place I am not sure if it is worth the price you pay for the goods (plus GST). I am not going back to the place, though others who wish to go are free to do so and to form their own opinion of the place. My earlier review is as below. For those who want chaat items, sandwiches, sweets or savouries. Take away option is also available. Right on GST road, and easy to reach.

This is the first time visiting LOIEE in chrompet. We 3 ordered, Cream of tomoto soup, Crispy fried corn, Butter Naan, Tandoori Rotti, Ghee Phulkha, Kadai Panneer, Basundhi, Pani Poori. The soup can be better as it missed its actual level and creamy. Taste is goos but still need to meet the actual Cream of tomoto soup. It felt like Tomoto soup. Fried corn - as regular and good Naan and Tandoori roti are good. Ghee Phulka really very nice and excellent with Kadai Panneer. At end Basundhi and Hot Gulab Jamun are very good. One thing they missed to say the Gulab Jamun is Hot. So If you order Gulab Jamun, pls wait a minute or two for the heat to little cool down. Pani poori, a regular taste and is good. Overall it was good. At the part of ambience, it is good but the Air-conditioning may be little more better. They have the dinning inside and near the sweet counter also. So some people may think little uncomfortable.

This place is ok for chat items only. Cleanliness is not upto mark. Also price is too high for the quality they are offering.

Very bad service. Ordered chenna samosa they didn't heat chenna and samosa, gave the old one and when we went and complained they didn't give proper response and just billed the amount and it was too pricy. Not at all worthy for the price we paid.Really disappointed by this shop in Chromepet. No fan and the atmosphere was not good. Water wasn't there to wash our hands. My stomach was upset after eating here. Totally ruined my evening. And the people working there weren't doing proper service.Hope they improve their quality and service in the future. Please check your food while eating in Loiee Chromepet.

Worst experience. Bought malai sandwich few mins before, while eating it had some stale smell. Unable to contact anyone for complaining

Perfect seating and proper outlet for buying snacks and sweets. I ordered and had basundi, jilebi and rasamalai. Tasted Excellent and will prefer the outlet specifically for the quality products.

Very bad in madurai beda. Fungus in all sweets. Yesterday I purchase your shop in chromoet. Today I open in box. I shocked.
