The property is very good. Room also clean. Location of this homestay is good, it is on road side, small market also present there. Acutely the owner is very good person, friendly and helpfull. We feel like home at there. The owner organized our full Hampi trip and it was really good. We enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Lohit Homestay.

It's a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to temples. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hampi - A beautiful town. A laid back town that has lot of heritage sites, small restaurants, and much more. BSNL and Jio network is available in the town. Lohit homestay is located in Kaddirampura, 4 km from the virupaksha temple, it would be your perfect choice of stay if you want to explore hampi. The host Mr. Prashanth will help you right from the time you step foot at Hospet, and until you reach back your hometown. The hospitality is top-notch. He helped us with local travel in hampi, suggested restaurants for food, places to visit and made us feel like we are at home. Even helped us to reach back to Hospet on our last day. He let us store our luggage in homestay, and let us freshen up on our last day, even after our check-out. The rooms are spacious, have privacy, facilities like geyser for hot water, and everything for a comfortable stay. If you visit hampi with family, solo, couple, I highly recommend you to stay here.

Recommended for a comfortable and memorable stay. The owner, Mr Prashant was welcoming and helpful to get us to the place as well as planning our Hampi trip. The rooms are fairly sized with good facilities at the price. We had access to the terrace which has a good view of surrounding as well as a decent sky (as of December 2022). Surroundings have enough options of required things for a short stay. Mr Prashant was nice to converse with on different topics related to place and culture.

We had amazing 3 days stay at Lohit homestay. It was always in my bucketlist to visit Hampi. The owner had good knowledge about the history of the place, He used to guide us every morning about the places and also the significance of that particular place. The service was great. I would love to recommend this place.

Neat and clean room and toilet. Very tasty food prepared by the family at reasonable price. Excellent customer service. Provided safe parking as requested. You can experience the culture and food of local hampi residents. Prasanth and Huliraj were very helpful.

I had the best experience in Hampi with Lohit stay. Prashant bhayya who owns the property is a gem of a person. He is very kind and adds value by being the best guide for you in Hampi. Coming to the room, it's very well maintained, clean and have all basic facilities like proper bathroom, water availability, heater, shelves, bed, blanket and chairs. It is located in a small settlement area about 3kms from Hampi. You have an ATM just infront of the house which is the closest ATM to Hampi. (There are no other ATMs within 5kms radius from Hampi other than this). You can easily find autos to travel to the temple. The auto charge you around 100~150rs, but it's the same all around Hampi which you will have to plan accordingly in your commute. Personally I would suggest you to take a bicycle or a moped for commute, which I think is better in terms of cost/benefit. And coming to the hospitality part, I think Prashant bhayya is the best host I ever had. I booked the room for 1 day initially thinking I'll switch next day if I didn't like it, however I ended up staying 2 nights. Prashant bhayya also allowed me to keep my stuff there for one additional day for free as my return was planned in the 3rd day night. He was also kind enough to invite me for dinner in his house, and everyone in his joint family welcomed me warmly, and gave an amazing "ghar ki khaana". I couldn't have asked for anything more, and would recommend anyone to Lohit stay if they are planning for Hampi. Experiences like these are what makes a trip memorable.

The owner Prashant is very friendly and does everything possible to make the stay comfortable which delighted us. The place is perfect if you have your own vehicle and is pretty close to Hampi and walkable from one of the monuments. Or For first time visitors to go with the recommended Auto guy Mahesh, he's very humble, speaks only when needed and guides to places you'd otherwise miss. Need to book at least 10-15 days before you plan on traveling here during peak season
