Worst experience. As soon I visit this place I find that the present condition is so far different from the pics available on google. I don't know why the government haven't paid any attention so far to maintain this fort. Every part of this fort is broken or damaged. Archaeological Survey of India should pay attention here to improve the conditions.
Not a magnificent view. A park is built around the fort, which makes it less scenic
Once being the pride of Loharu, the Fort has been diminished into ruins. Loharu Fort was built in the year 1570 CE by Thakur Arjun Singh. Rao Shekha had originally divided Shekhawati into 33 thikanas, of which the Fort was 33rd. It was then a small village with a kuccha, a mud fort, and stayed as such until 1800 CE. The Fort was in the hands of later Nawabs of Loharu until 1971 when the Late Nawab Aminuddin Ahmed Khan sold it to the Government of Haryana. Since these buildings were uninhabited, all the north-wing had collapsed as was part of the east-wing. Only the south-wing of the fort (containing the Farukh Manzil) survives, and that too went into a very dilapidated state.
5 star for its great history. Government should maintain its condition. Fort has great memories of Thakur's. Who built it.
Soulmate Beach Resort is a hidden gem by Agonda Beach. Private parking and budget-friendliness.
I am going delhi to sadulpur Loharu Junction railway station is a railway station in Bhiwani district , Haryana. Its code is LHU. It serves Loharu city. The station consists of 5 platforms. Passenger, Express and Superfast trains halt here.
Nothing special.. there's nothing like fort. Just a park made around the fort. It's the biggest and probably only attraction in Loharu.
It's very beautiful historical place. Must visit with family
