Lodra Lake - Lake in Lodra - Gandhinagar, India

Good place for birdwatching. The lake is surrounded by fruit orchards of different kinds which not attracts birds but also butterflies and flying foxes. There is a smalll temple close to this lake which as ample parking space for visitor. A large banian tree on the south west corner of this lake shelters a large colony of flying foxes as well as gray horn bills. No less than a dozen species of birds can be seen on any given day.

Very nice surrounding. Tirthangan visamo old age home & Shivji temple located nearby.

Wetlands in Lodra Village. Need to maintain. Water not used for anything except by cattle.

Very Famous Lake of Vijapur Taluka.. Lodra is a Name of Village and now it has a water purification plant here.. maintained and develop by gujarat Govt..

Lake is just for water collection.

This lake is used as water storage facility for water disribution in farms. This is not tourist place.
