Living Green Farms - Resort hotel in Prayagraj, Barika - Prayagraj, India

Fantastic hotels, excellent service, everything is good that could demand a sensible traveler. I really recommend this hotel, the rooms are good and comfortable, the place is fine, the employees are really kind and welcomed. Our room was very comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic and the staff could not be enough for us. The food was very good and the election was amazing. It is a good place to travel but every aspect needs to be improved.

We stayed here from 9th to 11th October 2022. We were in all 4 persons and out of them, including me, 2 were senior citizens. The entrance, reception etc which contributes to the first impression of visitors was not quite appealing and we became suspicious about our decision of choosing this spot for our 3D2N stay. But as we got settled in our AC Cottage and got acclimatised with the environment we started enjoying the place, it's ambience, the service of the staff and to be frank, even the breathing of the cool and charming breeze coming touching the Gangaji which flows hardly a km away from the property. All the days through, every mornings and evenings we enjoyed the proximity of the divine Gangaji, playing, swimming and relaxing in her loving and magical lap. The unforgettable and mesmerizing experience for us for our life time. (Readers should note that we are expert swimmers and are in habit of every day swimming in our Mother Godawari river in Nashik). About the property and services received from the team of main three persons viz. Rakeshji, Rajeshji and the chef Avhadeshji (to whom we Nick named as Tridev), deserve every compliments. They do not let down our single expectation or wish. The food served was exceptionally good and my word power is inadequate to describe it appropriately. In all our stay was the most memorable one and we will recommend to stay here for the readers who value simplicity, cleanliness, good food and dedication of the staff. The visitors who love the sophisticated ambience and star category lip service may not like the place as much as we liked it. Also, I must point out that when we stayed here these were the off season days and we were the only guests staying in the property. We cannot say or comment upon anything about the kind of service one will be getting when the property is having more or full occupancy.

This is a resort in a lazy rural setting about 20 KM from Prayag station. Great place to take a breather as we did in the middle of a hectic Kashi - Sarnath - Prayag trip. The strongest point here is the trio of Rajesh,Rakesh and Avadesh and of course the young boy Akash. They leave no stone unturned to spoil you in terms of food preparation. So word of advice come prepared here to be spoiled by them. The set up simple and easy. However inside of the resort, there is not much to do and neither is outside the resort. There was a thick growth of grass and mobility in the resort was restricted. Due to this the senior citizens in my group , relapsed to spending more time indoors in the AC either watching TV or using their phones for predominantly most part of their stay here. For swimming enthusiasts the banks of Maa Gangaji are nearby ( ~ 1.5 KM), however if you are like us who didn't have your vehicle you will have to walk there. But once there you will not feel like returning back soon. Like any other village, the air quality is splendid and lots of birds visit this place. Suggestions to the management- 1. Add and maintain activities such that people spend more time outdoors rather than outdoors. We enjoyed playing TT. But perhaps things like Frisbee, cards, carrot, chess etc. that are age agnostic activities could be included. 2. They should maintain a couple of bicycles, so people like me can roam around in the neighborhood and soak in the village. Other than that, good stay.

The restaurant was superb and the staff could not do enough for us. Food was very good and the choice was amazing. It's a nice place to visit but needs improvement in every aspect.

The property is situated in a peaceful village, surrounded by trees. Cottages were nice, each cottage had two bedrooms. Master bedroom has one sofa cum ved along with a bed, giv8ng enough space to accomodate 5-6 people, other bedroom can accomodate 2-3 persons. Both the bedrooms have window ac, though sometimes cooling is subpar. Property has a pool cum rain dance setup, though they should pay attention to proper cleaning of the pool, it was slippery and a bit muddy as well. They have a decent music system along with few games like table tennis, soft archery etc. Food was decent, some dishes were very nicely made. Staff is helpful and nice.
