For Wildlife enthusiast this is a must go ... Birds of prey including the fastest Peregrine Falcon and the Mighty Imperial Eagle to Flamingos to Hyenas to Desert foxes .. Just amazing
The best time to visit Little Rann of Kutch is during the winter (November to February). The days are pleasant and the temperature drops to single digits (Celsius). Summers are scorching hot, with temperatures soaring into the forties during the day. The monsoon brings some respite from the heat but the Rann gets flooded and can't be navigated. In fact, most of the animals settle down on the islands (known locally as bets) to escape the inundation.
Amazing place It is famous as the world's last refuge of the Indian wild ass (khur) for the conservation of which it has been declared as the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary. Though a bleak landscape it is rich in biodiversity and is an ecologically important area for wildlife and many local and migratory waterbirds like cranes, ducks, pelicans, flamingos and land birds like sandgrouse, francolins and the Indian bustards.It is also home to various unique mammals apart from wild ass such as the Indian wolf (Canis lupus pallipes), desert fox (Vulpes vulpes pusilla) and nilgai(Boselaphus tragocamelus).
Good for going with bike and cars. The nature of this place is awesome. It feels like you're in heaven.
Here you can see many types of birds like montagu's harrier, common Kestrel,common crane, greater flamingo and also famous for wildass

Great place to visit 5-6 hours are sufficient to cover the area. I'm was there with a local Gujrati friend living in same village who helped me to travel in his bike across the little Rann.
Wrong information...no wildass sanchury no little run of kutch...it's misleading location.Nothing is there. Google map does not verify before adding. It is mistake of Google map also. Don't visit thinking of any tourism place. There is no tourism landmark
