Delicious food!!! Great ambience and awesome service! We had an amazing time! Our server was Mr. Embor, who was attentive and helpful.
Loved their dal makhani. Good place to have North Indian food if you are in Shillong. The location next to golf course is an added advantage and helps them draw a lot of people. Book a table in advance if you are sure about your visit. Service can be made more prompt but would give them a leeway given it's relatively new

Worst Experience. Food was delivered late . Veg Thali priced 300 re however they missed to serve main paneer item . Special Thali items were not hot , few items felt were stale. They got it when we are almost at the end of the meal. However they are very quick in clearing the table while you are still having. No hospitality at all. There is only one wash room and lock is not properly working. One can't come out of washroom when other person is washing hand . Bad design of wash area.

I like this place, the food is good. The service is awesome, the staffs are professional and know what they're doing. Waiting time is normal. The place is clean, tidy and spacious. Would definitely recommend 8/10
A nice quaint place called The Golf Retreat just adjacent to..what else...the Shillong Golf Course. I have tried the restaurant only. About 30 seats. Service is average. Place is clean with a decent washroom. The glass windows on two sides gives a view of the busy road intersecting the natural golf course and the fairway. The bao buns are what I have tried here whenever I go here... because I haven't found them anywhere else in Shillong. They are nice as is the coffee. The place seems to be popular for Chinese food. Never short of seats, it's a fine place in this part of the city for food.
Great food. Ordered Spices of Asia special burger along with Anderson white tea. Awesome food and reasonable price with more than adequate portion. The ambience is so good inside as well as outside view with the lush green golf course. Highly recommended.

I came across this place as I wanted to rewind. I played some pool, the staff and people are so friendly and nice. The food was great and they serve beer and wine too. Playing pool with beer in hand is a rare experience. Recommended a visit.
