It offers stunning view of Himalayas, one can view whole range of mountains from here, additionally Manali City view from the top. Have been here in winter and summer both, would prefer summer because of less slippery terrain. If one is looking to trek more, lamadugh is perfect place to reach after this spot. Just 2 hr from this place but a magical place to be.
A stunning and beautiful place that overlooks all of Old Manali. The trek is moderate at max even for beginners. Could very well be a lovely picnic spot, as it is peaceful and quiet. I spent half a day here and met only a couple of fellow tourists, so its a really good spot for people wanting to avoid the bustling crowd down in Mall road.
Great views of Manali and the snow capped peaks East of the valley. There is a nice meadow a further 100 feet above this Rock. It's a steep ~800 feet climb from the Lamadugh trek start point . Takes 45 mins to 1 hour. Go on a day with good visibility.
Lion rock manali is commonly called bada pathar in local is a awesome place for bird view of manali the way is from hidimba Mata temple the road upwards then there is trek of approximately 3kms then you will reach here here are some pictures of lion rock manali
If you're fond of trekking and the outdoors, this trail is one you have to follow and hike up to reach this marvellous rock perched high up on the mountain. Its not that easy to get up due to the gradient of the climb, but once you reach the top, you're surely gonna forget about all that pain in Ur legs A must visit site if you're in Manali.. keep an eye out for the beautiful horses and ponies on the hill grazing away on the lush green grass up there. Views that are truly amazing and best seen in person cuz pictures cannot do justice.
Great option for a half-day hike from Manali. The climb is a bit steep towards the end and might not be ideal for beginners.
Bada pattar... Very good for short and steap tracking about 30 min. From Hadimba Temple we will be in the top of manali can see beautiful scenery
It's a trekking spot. The rock is situated on top of the mountain . Place is called lama dugh. Almost 1 hr trekking from trippy fly homestay in manali. The mountain Is situated at the backside of thishomestay. The view that we get after trekking to the top most region is splendid. It's worth the time taken.
[Callout : This is in no way an easy trek] I read many reviews calling it to be an easy trek, but it isn't really one. It requires a lot of effort because there are some steep climbs at many places, making it a challenging one especially if you are
This place is awesom for walk and stroll. Beautiful long trees and fresh air without any noise from outer town. You will feel real peace and joy of hill stations in this park.
