Lilypad Resort - Resort hotel in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

Rooms are very big and nice. Pool is superb with neat and clean. Staffs especially reception staff ajin & pool cleaning guy aji is very much co-operative & helpfull. I recommended this resort for everyone to stay.

Good spacious rooms, with all facilities - AC, TV, mini fridge, king size bed, shower, porch facing pool. One of the few resorts near Varkala cliff with a swimming pool, and for this rate. Decent for family, but I'd say it's even better for bachelors. Very near to Varkala cliff (100m). Easy to reach the resort by car. Resort clearly mentions no food/kitchen facility, so we were prepared. However, they do provide water bottle, kettle etc.

To be honest the best place I found in Varkala. Finally a place that is not only "pretty" but also WELL KEPT. Keeping the garden and the pool always perfect and super friendly staff, you can see they put the heart where they work. Hot shower. Too bad we had to leave after a week, we really miss that intimate and lovely place . Thank you again Giorgia and family

Lilypad is not only a place to sleep. Here you can find everything that you need. For me is the best place in Varkala. Big room, lovely garden cleaned every and with big swimming pool.... And lovely people that can help and assist you in every moment. Ajin and All Lilypad staff are Kindly and prepared to give everything to you. The Resort is very closed to each services, outside the door you can find everything, food , money exchange, transport.... All in few steps.... If we had met it earlier we would have stayed here a few weeks more. Thanks guy you are great

Such a nice place and comfy rooms, clean bathrooms. Kind owner. They clean the pool daily and It was good 2 days stay for affordable price.

Lily's Pad is one aesthetically minimalist designed property and very well maintained. The swimming pool is perfect for kids with clean water. The rooms are big with A/c facility for 3/4 people. The best part are the services. Helpful with smiling faces. We were on the road trip and our battery was down, the hotel staff took extra effort to help us fix the problem so that we can continue our journey. We had a great family time.

great place to stay , not very crowded. the rooms are pretty spacious. the place is only 3 mins walk from the beach cliff . The pool was not very big but kept in great condition. overall this was a bang for buck stay for us .

Lilypad is a good hotel to stay with. Its a new hotel and well maintained. They had more amenities than we expect from hotels of similar category. we have a really pleasant stay. To start with our check in was quick. We were surprised to see the size of rooms. They were really spacious with large beds. The rooms were clean. Rooms had enough storage facility extra cloth hanger very useful to dry your wet clothes after swimming. Toilets were also neat and clean. All rooms have view to swimming pool and ground floor rooms have direct access to pool. Staff was really friendly and helpful and our special request were taken care of well. They have round the security person as well. They have limited car parking space. But it should be sufficent considering the number of people coming by car. The access road to resort is narrow for about 500 meters from the main road. The helipad beach is just 200 meters away from the resort. The beach can accessed by walk through narrrow path, very narrow path along the course. But its super safe even at late night to walk. During our stay were peforming the scheduled maintenance preparing the receive the guests as the season starts in december. There was no televison in the room as part maintenance, and we were not in mood to sit and watch TV. Swimming pool also cleaned everyday morning and water was clean. We opted with room without breakfast and hence cannot review on the food. There are a lots of restaurants along the cliff side various cusine and some excellent seafood. Few suggestions would be replace the colored bed spreads with white linen and blankets provided was too thin and was feeling cold even without AC. We really enjoyed the stay at this hotel.
