Very nice environment. A 15 minutes walk from Rabindra Sarobar Metro Station. Just beside the calcutta rowing club. There is a toilet at a walking distance of 4 minutes. On the opposite footpath of the Main Road.
This is excellent water body with naturally full of Lotus flowers and a beautiful fountain at the middle of the pool. Excellent place for morning walkers. Entry is from Nauru mancha gate.
This is perhaps the HANGING BRIDGE, not Lilly Pool.. though one might get to see plenty of those flowers here...

A very beautiful place in Rabindra Sarobar Lake, located in Golpark, Dhakuria. Very calm and peaceful environment, full of trees. The bridge looks very beautiful in the evening. But it is not safe to go there alone in the evening.
You can spend hours looking at the beauty of this place. This Pool/Bridge was constructed by the same company that build the Howrah Bridge and is like a memento/souvenir. The pool connects to a masjid.
A bridge which connects the surrounding area with the lake mosque. No singing or loitering is allowed on the bridge. The bridge was built by Burn and Co LTD Bridge builders Howrah in 1926 AD.
