Lilawati Girls' Hostel - Girl's Hostel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

My friend was staying there , she stated the following problems - 1. NO working CC tv camera 2. NO Security personnel 3. Warden & Owner is ignorant of the problems 4. Monotonous Food 5. Water problems occur sometimes

Stayed this hostel. Warden's behaviour isn't good. Also the food is bad. Not healthy at all. All the time they gave rice and alu. I have health issues now because of this hostel's food. Not recommended at all.

I had really great experience here. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was also very good

Firstly, the rooms are definitely spacious and fine. But apart from that rest all aspects are disappointing. The warden isn't cooperative and owner does not even receive his phone. Which shows a total negligence of them. My colleague stayed there and once they didn't open the gate when she was late even though she informed before. The reason the warden cited was she fell asleep. Like seriously!!??? A girls pg owner and warden should always be extra responsible. (Totally opposite here). Not recommended

Easy to locate from the road. Quite tall building. The surrounding area is well maintained.

I have stayed in Guwahati for almost 4 and half years and there were PGs which were not that great but I have managed to survive for 1-2 yrs. But Lilawati Girls hostel is different. If you are a true human with legitimate feelings I doubt if you can even survive for a week. I couldn't adjust but there were no options left because you will be demanded 16000 at the time of admission and you have to give that no matter what. Along with 6500 per month you have to give a security fees of 6500 and an admission fee of 3000 too ( and no, you are not given any tution classes , it is just for fun). I didn't find any dish even close to decent in the last 2 months and moreover you are not allowed to use the kitchen too. We were also served unhygienic tap water to drink for 1 week when the aquaguard stopped working. The owner is an invisible figure and you cannot share any grievances to him directly. If you are planning on leaving the pg you will be kicked out on the 1st day of the month. I couldn't find anything humanly in the pg but sure if you want to experience something hilarious in life you can surely stay there.

Good and secured hostel.24 hours running water with individual furnished room with attached bathroom. Veg Lunch and dinner provided with chicken curry fish curry and egg curry on different days.

First of all no girls so take a PG in this place, they are just doing business, warden is hopeless she is illiterate doesn't know how to speak, and owner isn't responding also irresponsible they are just in sake of doing business. Moreover it's not safe staying.
