ALIF RESTAURANT IS A GOOD OPTION IN GANDHINAGAR THEY SHOULD WORK ON THEIR SERVICE & HYGIENE MORE SERVICE WAS VERY SLOW. IT TOOK AROUND 35 MINUTES TO BRING THE STARTER, HOWEVER WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMER INSIDE THE RESTAURANT DURING PEAK LUNCH HOUR.

During our visit here, I ordered a Punjabi thali and my wife ordered a non veg thali and it was simply delicious. The ambience is quite good and the staff is quite polite. Now coming to the pricing, the non vegetarian option seems a bit pricey as the veg thali cost 170 rupees whereas the non vegetarian thali cost more than double the rate at 380 rupees, but the taste of the food was great as per my wife's feedback. A major drawback that I felt was the service speed, which is quite slow. If they can improve on this, that would be very beneficial to the customers. Overall a definitely recommended place for enjoying food.

Taste was Good, starters were awesome even curry was good biryani was a bit lacking in taste flavour was up to the mark, it was a little not undercooked. Otherwise everything is Good, for 4 people approx 2000 rs will be spent.

The owners appear to be extremely genuine. Though they can make you wait for ages, they offer food in really affordable prices - especially Veg thali in the lunch time. If you are working in/nearby Info city, and looking for a change in everyday's "Sweet Dal", then Alif is one of the best options you can have. The unlimited (Punjabi style) Veg thali contains two types of sabjis (Paneer and Chhole), Butter Roti's, Jeera rice and Dal. It costs Rs. 100/- (Only!). This meal (or Offer actually!) is valid for the Lunch time only. Me and my friend have been their customer from almost a month now. We haven't seen such consistency in most of the other restaurants in this price range. Do visit once.
