Light house beach homestay - Home Stay in Padu - Udupi, India

The home stay is poorly maintained. The premises are not cleaned properly, and the fall ceiling may fall anytime. There are a lot of bed bugs, so there is no guarantee of a good sleep. Although the room has an AC, it is not functional. The owner is only interested in money and will not refund the amount if you not like the room. Moreover, the house floods with water when it rains. There is no cover on the toilet, so we have to bear with it. The hall looks like a storage room, and the windows are stuck, preventing any air circulation.

Worst place you can ever be. Please go book somewhere else this place is really not worth staying for 1 night also. The owner of the property is a scammer and lies about everything and has 0% interest to make his guests comfortable. The place is not at all maintained. Everything is broken or in very bad shape. Please find a better place to stay please don't book here. Our vacation was spoiled for this place. Note- Please don't believe the owner photos he will send you 3 years old photos of the property if you ask.

We connected with owner before and asked the recent photos of the place the picture and videos shared was 3 years old, we booked the place for 2days for my family vacation, when me and my family visited the place we found this place is in worst condition the house looks worst the backyard is in worst condition though the beach is next to the property but you have to walk on the pile of garbage to reach the beach . The room looks spooky the washroom is broken and dirty, the false ceiling is broken looks like anytime it might fall on you, bed sheet looks like never washed. The owner said AC is available in one room but it doesn't work the other rooms fan doesn't work. The owner was not there to receive us, When we informed the owner about it he is like please adjust I am busy, we were family of 5 and the house has 2 rooms how can someone adjust in one room. We had to leave next day early morning and shift to a different place that was the worst night. I would not recommend this place to anybody please avoid this place and don't believe the owner images or Google images these are old images. Your vacation will be spoiled. The owner of the property is a lier and he scammed us. He doesn't care about his guest and wouldn't provide any services. Worst place in Udupi. Please avoid this place.

Located just near kapu light house(perfect location),the homestay is clean and provides u great hospitality.The hotel owner Mr.Chandrashekar is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay.The homestay provides u almost every facilities.The view was great.wen i say food was great...it was specially prepared at owners house and brought to us(i mean it :))Overall experience was awesome.I'll recommend dis homestay to every couple and families:). You wont regret,just be there:)

Enjoy the beach view just by sitting at home! Best place to celebrate kitty parties and small functions and get together. There is Availabilty of Ample parking space with secured compound wall. Its was good experience to be there, we stay for a night with group of friends. Stay is right next to beach and near to lighthouse with decent price. Owner was very friendly and a call away. Will recommend this homestay with group of friends with private, clean, not crowded beach stay.

This is not a resort ..As mention in This is just a service villa.. Rooms are not clean..Especially toilets and living area..Only one vertical A/C available and it's water is flowing through the rooms floor itself..We paid 4500.rs for entire property for 1 night.. The main difficulty is no pure water available for bathing and cooking.only salt water available. Also lots of stray dogs are there in the night time ..So please don't keep your things out side.. Stove available for cooking but cooking gas cylinder not available Kaup lighthouse and beach are very near to this resort ..

Was the worst place ever they said they have ac in all rooms but had just one ac and that didn't work too chandrashekhar is his name he's a fraud be careful they lie about the amenities instead visit light House beach resort which is a little ahead from this place
