A fantastic place to morning walk . Many play activities for kids. Open space Shuttle court inside. A ganesh temple inside occassionally offered foods to deities.ample space around park. Neatly maintained.
The elders who walk there are obsessed with the place
Known as j block park this park is a nixe and compact park invites many fitness freaks from in and around this area. Possibly the oldest well maintained park in this locality. The pillayar temple in this park also attracts so many devotees. The arasaradi pillayar used to be carefree not so long ago but has been confined into a sanctum now with so many visitors flocking.to him ao very often with prayer requests :)
Anna nagar park is a childhood favy and memory that I cherish. The place has become bad. Be careful when you take kids along as you might notice not so decent ppl around or couples being intimate. Definitely not a pleasant sight when kids are around. Early morning walks are best in this place. There are also lots of food vendors that provide great food that are worth trying. Check out soups, sweet corn, spicy karapori, masala kadalai and momos. A must try around this area.
Park is good comparing the major parks in chennai, cleaning is happening, if that continues regularly park might be fully clean. Even a few days of idleness can ruin.
Park is good But more mosquitoes
I liked it but the park looks like it had restricted. Because many crows and dogs only were inside the park. The park is alone.
